When Luke pops in I almost choked. This solo is so f....PERFECT in every way. If you don't know why Luke is the guitar God he is, well THERE IT IS. Now Mark's track is killer. All this just lit my day. A million thanks

Horns providing perfect companionship to the guitar playing, and Luke's guitar dragging this gem into rock territory! This is bluesrock, funk and bigband sound all rolled into one delicious aural jam - eargasm from 0:00 - 5:45!

11 dislikes in the moment of writing 😳 Ok it’s confirmed - there are 11 brainless people watching KZbin. No person with a working brain and ears would give dislike to this kind of performance. It’s simply not possible. No possible no no no No dislikes please. Giving a dislike here is a crime.

@Sascha_Franck3 жыл бұрын
Well, sorry to be a PITA, but it's not double time it's triplets becoming even notes. 4 triplets become a group of 4 16ths, so to say, while keeping the same "grid pace".
@Kryptic12343 жыл бұрын
@@Sascha_Franck Thanks! That explains why the transition sounds so off-balance. Keeping the same "grid pace" explains why it's got a 3/4 vibe after the transition (more like 6/4 really). Love it!

Got to see the album premiere show last Friday night at Tulips in Ft Worth. Needless to say Mark Lettieri tore some shit up. Steve Luke wasn't there in person but you could tell Mark share the stage with him in spirit, and I'm really surprised that Mark wasn't able to pull off something bigger than Tulips with Steve present for the premiere show. He graced us with some older stuff too, namely, "Spark and Echo" which quite possibly is my favorite song of all time by anyone! Mark and fellow Snarky Puppy bandmate Shaun Martin were both extremely friendly and interactive with the smallish hometown audience. He took the time to autograph a vinyl album cover for my sister in law and let her take a picture of Mark and Mark. Awesome music awesome artist awesome night. Thanks Mark!
