I believe he was talking about the AVERAGE old age. If you look at statistics the average age is gotten longer then say a 150 years ago. Nutrition, exercise, medicine, etc. All have helped in longevity

As believers, it's our duty to spread the gospel. We have a true concern for what we consider a lost soul, (athiest). It's the love of Christ in us that doesn't want to see you perish. Whether you choose to believe or not believe doesn't take away the fact that we will all be responsible for our decisions. If God isn't real then we've lost nothing. If God is real and you've chosen not to accept him, your soul will be damned. It's not our job to make anyone believe. It's our job to do and say what the holy spirit tells us. God deals with the hearts of mankind. We can't save anyone and that's not our place. We are simply God's Messengers spreading his gospel in love. Whether you ever accept Christ or not doesn't change the fact that I love you, not just because the Bible commands me to but because I want to. You are only hurting and damning yourself by not allowing yourself to be open minded. This isn't about brainwashing you but more about you being in the presence of almighty God and experiencing what's real.
