I remember this and other stories from the album "For the First Time on Planet Earth". I also remember the story of the van accident from a later album.

I'm sure this story was responsible for my becoming a teacher. I still think about it as I deal with difficult behaviors in the classroom. Thank you for sharing this story! And your mother was a lovely woman, I know she would be proud of you now.

I laugh each time. Belly laughs are the best. Thank you. I was the baby of the bunch. My older brother, the protector. My sister, the perfect child. We did all manage. Other than that, you are one of a kind and surely blessed. Thank you for these videos.

This is so funny, and yet very sad, too. Life for all kids with ADHD must have been frustrating and depressing, because no one knew what was really going on. Bless your sweet heart!

Living on the autism spectrum is pretty rough, too, especially when it gets diagnosed later in life. The earlier it's diagnosed the easier it is to help the child, but I was 11 years old before a doctor finally diagnosed me correctly because so little was understood about autism and its relatives in the 80s. I guess that's one reason I like Mark Lowry so much - our conditions aren't the same, but I feel like I have a lot more in common with him than I do with a lot of other people around me.

My brother had a friend with ADHD. His dad used to beat the hell out of him. This was back in the 70's before doctors knew what ADHD was.

Hi, Mark from Lyn in Georgia! Have been in hospital too many times & getting ready to go as I’m typing. This was a wonderful moment to lighten the mood & reminder that God has us in His care. Prayers for safe travels & good health as you continue to share God’s message and provide others moment of laughter in face of gloomy times. 😇🙏🏻🥓 What? Bacon? Hungry & if only I could eat some bacon!! Has been months since I’ve had any.. LOL..Think I’ve just solved my problems!🙃
