This song was sung at our wedding 46 years ago because I loved the Lettermen who sang it originally and loved the song. As young-and-in-love college graduates, we didn't have a clue as to how prophetic these words would turn out to be... the death of our oldest daughter at age 12... our parents, cancer, heart attack, betrayal, not to mention daily struggles, or raising 3 children... but even when at times I could feel or hear nothing from heaven I held on to His Word that he would never leave me or forsake me and now as I look back I can see His hand all through our lives. The battle is not over, but I know the golden sky is up ahead, and I know who's there. Praise His Holy Name!
