I lived in Las Vegas many years after you raced at Craig Road Speedway. Many of my racing friends bragged about how great a promoter it had and about you racing there as a teenager ! You have made a great impact on so many people and the sport including me. I was fortunate to beat your Vegas test when you and Wally Dallenbach were there. Your car was loose and you backed into the wall in turn 1. When you got back to the pits and I got to ask you about what it felt like to hit at that speed. You signed die cast cars for my friends that were speedway employees and I took the photos. I enjoyed that afternoon greatly because you were in it.

Mark I had the pleasure of meeting you at road Atlanta back in early or mid 80s you never change a champion then aswell as now. Watched your Career and always thought it was a terrible shame people in indy never gave you a shot at that type of racing. Your driving style was so suited For that type of racing .of all the drivers you were so aware of the deminson of your car could put in so many tight places with out getting a scratch. Many many times.

Kids will do "awesome" dumb things when they just get out of their teens and sometimes it works out.Twenty years later the amazement gets sets in.
