I’m from Buenos Aires, Argentina, so I grew up with this kind of situation. I know how they’re like, what causes them and how to survive them. Now it’s just on a global scale. But I’ve been living in Switzerland and working in Europe and worldwide for the last 20 years, so I learned through observation, analysis and experimentation why some countries are richer and others are poorer. Until quite recently it was the quality of the leadership, the systems implemented (reasonable laws, taxation, justice, public service, etc.) and the decision making (more distributed, federalist, democratic) what made the biggest difference. But now I see in the rich western world the same level of poor leadership, stupid rules, violation of rights and centralised decision making which used to characterise the poorer nations. So the world has now levelled down for worse! And if the richest, most influential countries are making so many severe mistakes, with such a level of arrogance, and are stopping doing the right things that made them so rich and influential, creating nothing but mistrust and uncertainty, we will see the western world collapsing in a way we’ve never experienced before! And this will also be a catastrophe for the rest of the world that was used to trade with those rich nations. As a result, it will cause a global collapse of sorts. Therefore the countries with a better and more varied local food production will suffer a bit less. And the net importers of food will suffer the most. Be prepared, this will be ugly at best! And if we fail to collaborate and help each other out, we will be back at stone age in no time. Eventually we will have to assume personal responsibility as citizens of the world, we will have to get rid of all the corrupt institutions that brought us to this point knowingly and start anew in a completely transparent and democratic way, taking care of each other in freedom and personal responsibility. Tough times are underway. I wish us all the best.

So people and places that depend on that wheat are gonna have a really hard time. And because of fuel and fertilizer prices foods gonna cost a bit more. It won't be the end of the world, and it will pass, and giving vague ominous warnings on youtube and then telling the audience to "do their own research" is lazy and unhelpful. Jimmy has no relevant expertise on any of these topics and shouldn't be blasting this shite out to millions of people. There are more responsible and productive ways to spread information and clothing it in apocalyptical undertones ain't it.

My grandpa lived in a small farming town in Kansas during the great depression. He told me they didn't even notice the depression because everyone grew their own food and raised livestock so it never affected their lives. Modern society is made up of people who only know how to consume but not how to produce anything. You can't survive on TikTok videos, Facebook pages or Twitter posts but that's all some of the younger generation knows. I've seen the end and it's not pretty but it doesn't have to turn out that way, people can learn how to band together and help one another instead of cutting each other's throats for the last grain of rice. We have been called conspiracy theorists for years. Now all those people who ostracized us are either waking up and taking the res pill or mad at us for being bright. There are things you can do aside from buying in bulk. If it is it all possible become self sufficient or a self sufficient as possible. There are things you can do even if your life in a tiny apartment. You can have small container gardens and take up a trade. Learn a skill so that you can use that skill to trade or barter. If your have a yard in the middle of suburbia turn it into a garden. Quite watering that grass and grow something that will feed you. Your can also have a small backyard flock of chickens for fresh eggs. If your have land work it. Make it so its will feed you and your community. We saw the writing all the well years ago and bailed out of California and bought 3 acres of land 3 years ago. We are working on turning it into our homestead. Its already starting to feed us. I am learning canning and other forms of food preservation. I can sew. I'm working on getting some antique sewing machines in can use in the even the grid goes down. I'm learning herbology and soap making too. All things that can be useful should the economy collapse. Buying in bulk isn't the solution. It might be good for the short term but eventually you have to do something about your situation. Anyways good job red pilling. Keep up the good work.

Oh heck yeah,grow food. Screw lawns. Get bulk sacks of beans, and you can get vacuum sealed rice,but it only lasts so long. Don't worry about canning,if you can't...just slice it,blanch it, and freeze it. As far as energy independence, we had that due to frackers, not the Keystone. But the fracking model doesn't work, and its too complicated to explain. Tons of frackers went bankrupt....and left a mess everywhere. (just think of a roller coaster.) Well here we are now 15 months later, and these predictions don't hold up so well (which is why I never make predictions). Inflation peaked at 9% a couple of weeks after this, and then went straight down to the current 3.2%. The initial shock to oil from Putin's invasion is also over, as oil (part of the inflation picture) is back down to $78 from the high of $118 right after this video came out. The Saudis are slashing production, but fears of a worldwide recession are keeping oil/gas demand down (btw, Biden didn't cancel the Keystone Pipeline, only the Keystone extension--which was planned to take Canadian oil, not American, down to Houston to be sold overseas). Because the US has the prosperous economy while others are in recession, the dollar went up while the ruble is crashing below 1% of the dollar. Likewise, the Chinese yuan jumped from 6.2 when this video came out up to the current 7.2, which means a year later we can buy 16% more of China's products with the same amount of money. And China's new Maoist tendencies combined with their own real estate disaster have brought the yuan down, and could lead to their own Lehman moment. China reopened their supply chains, but we've decided not to buy as much, so they have serious deflation, which will bring down prices here too. Many of the points here were valid, but their effects had already hit, and many countries had moved quickly to deal with the problems. For example, many companies moved--and are moving--their factories from China to Vietnam, Indonesia, and other countries, and India will be the next powerhouse manufacturer, because their potential workforce is even poorer than the rural Chinese were 30 years ago. Also, people don't like to admit it, but the massive federal spending both Trump and Biden crammed into the economy is firing up American manufacturing for what will be vital products like microchips, AI, renewable energy, etc. While it fueled inflation along with Ukraine, it also fueled raises, allowing most to better keep up with inflation. Most economists are scratching their heads trying to figure out why the Fed's more than doubling interest rates should have caused a major recession, but instead unemployment is still at historic lows. Not even housing prices have crashed--yet. So which would you rather have had, a job with high prices, or no job with low prices--because that's the dilemma we faced with covid: do nothing, and have a guaranteed recession with high unemployment, or have a massive infusion of money and have a spurt of inflation, but plenty of jobs. Thanks Jimmy... I'm an independent truck driver and I just hauled a load. I was supposed to get 25,000 lbs of Bagels.. but the shipper only gave me just under 3,000 lbs and told me, that's all we have to send. Well, just so you understand, I got paid the same!! A 1,047 mile run that costs me $1,100 in fuel not too mention paying myself, truck, trailer and insurance, the load only paid $2,200. The rates aren't going up like they should given the fuel prices. So they're also starving out the independent drivers! About 1/3 of the freight in the US is hauled by us independent drivers! They don't like us because we're so hard to "control". All this leads to disaster!!! And they know it.. can it be turned around? I think so, but not without some real hard times ahead!!

You are a man after my own heart! I have been a prepper for years. I think I have a siege mentality after living in PNG for years. I agree 100% that we need to stock up and not just buy what we need from week to week. I was proved right in February this year when our town in Australia experienced the worst flood in memory (white memory that is). The local people say there is one worse to come and our local senior climatologist has said there is a risk of further flooding from Aug-Oct, ie. 17 meters. That is unheard of for people who were not born here. We live nearly 700 meters above sea level, and were safe from flooding, but the roads were washed out and so was the infrastructure, i.e services, supermarkets. People were washed away, the numbers kept hidden so as to not alarm people from returning and rebuilding. La Nina is returning with a vengeance!

I'm actually spending less on groceries and consumables today than I was 3 years ago. I stopped buying fancy, expensive bullshit, stopped going to high end grocery stores, stopped eating out and just went back to basics. And I feel quite a bit healthier too. Pre 2k cars are going to be worth their weight in gold. Most still used a distributor working from the crank. Those will be the easiest to convert back to a points and condenser system and throttle body intake. No computer required. Anything newer will be worthless. Best option would be diesel.

I think most people are scared to or don't have time. I've been looking at the topic since 1980. With the internet happening in the 90s, I have found there is an incredible amount of modern testimony and ancient literature. In short, I have found that UFO pilots are the "elohim" and are responsible for the construction of the megalithic ruins all over Earth. Scripture and related ancient texts plus Hindu literature are filled with explanations about this topic. Current events in our time are also addressed including the genetic engineering that goes on. It's a big topic that few look at.

Get those seeds, shoots, etc. going - indoors if you can. You can raise potatoes in garbage sacks. Tuck herb plants around your "indoor jungle" plants. Set up that old aquarium and get some tilapia. Think of ways to gather fresh water and how to use "grey water". Learn to grind your own flour and how to make your own bread. Learn how to preserve or dry food (inc. meat, fish, etc.) Solar power. Etc.

I have heard this exact same thing for the last 4-5 years. Yes there is inflation to a huge degree but but I remember worse. You weren't even born when gas took it's first huge jump in prices and availability in the 1970's where you could only buy gas on certain days and only so many gallons and the price doubled within a few weeks.... everything jumped up in price during that time too. Not saying that it's impossible for things to get as bad as you think they will, just saying this isn't the first time I've seen worldwide price jumps and nothing happened. I just think you are drawing a incorrect conclusion. Time will tell but I've heard preppers saying this exact same thing for years now. Kind of like the Second Coming of Jesus.....
