Only time will tell but I do believe the previous person left a comment about the here and now and as of now, things are substantially more positive, energetic and consistent with pope as a person and coach! Each fan base has their own personal opinion regarding their coaches and teams and their ups and downs but for now bbn is more than pleased and grateful currently! Hope your day gets better Erik. I'm not all that knowledgeable about it, but I can't help but be impressed by how a coach can come in without any players and turn a brand new bunch into a TEAM in such a short amount of time. I could imagine things descending into completely chaos. Impressive start and a class act.

One thing I like about Pope’s offense is how the team stats can look bad on paper, but we can still win by almost 20 points. It was by no means a perfect performance, but I’m still happy with this team. On their best days, I think they’re a top 5 contender

Coach pope, love what u have done so far. Hey we gotta a top ten team. But the hilltoppers, scored a lot of points with straight line drives to basketball. I just don't think defense was all that great tonight. I mean did I watch a different game????? If western would a shot a better 3 %.thus game would a been to close. A lot open looks that rimmed out. So maybe I should watch again, I just saw a lot of open looks outside, that = a lot picks that wasn't switched quick enough. But western is a good team, with couple breaks makes tournament with a 13-10 seed. That will give a 5-8 seed all they want.

From the game that I watched, uks defense is what won the game across the board, especially in the final 10 minutes! Our offense wasn't clicking at all which is why they're were over 48 foul shots attempted and the majority of our points came from the paint. Wku could have easily beaten alot of top 25 teams that night and if that game would have been a cal coached game and team, uk would have lost!

We played terrible. Not hating. Just poor free throw shooting (again), poor rebounding, and defense was ok.

I think it was more due to Wku being a pretty decent team. Wasn't their best game but they still scored 87 and won by 19. This game benefited them. I like where this team is at and where it can go.

and we still won by 19...if we were shooting our average, we'd have won by about 31 pts. west ky has defense that is rated higher than wisconsin and wake forest, they have defense almost as good as UConn, Baylor, Xaiver, UNC and florida...shots weren't falling still scored 87, chill out.

I am not a fan of the offense being run by Amari at the top of the key. he's not a threat to shoot or drive, and he had six TO's, mostly on poor entry passes
