Yeah , I losed my husband 2 year's ago to lungcancer do to Asbestos , my husband served in the Navy on the USS SARATOGA for 8 year's , I was screwed out of his pension by Calpers in California they claimed that my husband didn't put me on as his beneficiary for his pension , that is a lie ! When we got married Calpers send us a form that had to be filled out too make me his dependent , and it was filled out by a paralegal and send back to Calpers in California the even put a stamp on received on January 3rd 2000 and I had all the benefits for 21 years like cola , health insurance ect.ect. and when my husband called them twice a year to make sure in case off his demise so that I would be taking care off , the State Controller always injured him that I would get 75% of the pension and keep the health insurance , well untill he passed suddenly the claimed that he didn't put me on as his beneficiary for his pension lol , that is an outrageous lie , my husband wanted me to be taking care off and I even have proof of that he send the form too them I still won't get the pension he worked hard for ! I am not the only one hundreds of people going too the same problem with Calpers the cheating survivors out off pensions and health insurance my Lawyer found out ! If I was an illegal I would get all the help and free benefits there are , I don't even want anything for free , all I wan't is what is rightfully meine from the beginning ! It seems no one is listening nor is willing too help me and hundreds of other's , if it wasn't for my family I would be homeless already !! All I want is what is rightfully mine , if I wasn't an American and came illegal in this country I already would got all the help I needed ! Sadly that's were we are theses day's 😢
