Based on your experience, how much extra stuff can you put inside besides the ones you put in the video? Can you put, say, a bottle of water and an apple? Does it change its natural shape?

If your laptop is the thin and light one then yes you can still put a small slim water bottle and a small apple. But if it's a gaming laptop more than an inch thick then no you cannot anymore. And no it doesn't change its natural shape, but flattens a bit of no content inside but that it. The front and back are very stiff and rigid and keep its shape.
