Now this is what you call "Music". Saw Mark and his band on the Gold Coast performing on stage on a Saturday night on Surfers Paradise beach early 2013. His performance was as inspiring and hair raising as it is in this clip. Mark Seymour is indeed an Australian Treasure. The passion in his voice and guitar playing when he performs should be played in music class rooms across this great country for all up and coming Aussie musicians to listen and learn from. For when you perform up on stage you give your heart and soul to all those that are there in front of you. Like Mark always does. Always has been and always will be a Aussie Icon. Well done Mark. You really are a true Singer/Song writer & Performer mate. Can't wait to see you back on the Gold Coast.

This song has become the iconic "good night" song at midnight, when RadioAnkerherz finishes its broadcast for the day.

It was written in Scotland prior to 1605 and was called Armstrong's Goodnight. It is a shared tune between the two Great Celtic Nations. Slainte!!

Cannot believe you wrote 'partying glass', at least put it right, for the sake of one of the greatest 'parting' songs known to man
