The problem s are roster construction and player evaluations which lead to player development. Atkins is a rookie GM that was head of player development in Cleveland! Atkins is the architect of this team and the drafting for 9 years! He has failed and why he is still making decisions is mind boggling.

Shapiro and Atkins and John Schneider must be fired immediately. The first two accomplished nothing in Cleveland, and they haven't done anything in Toronto. Fire them now and bring in baseball people who know what they are doing.

This is an old problem. After last year's playoff disaster against Minnesota, where they couldn't score runs, Shatkins knew they needed bats and he didn't get any. So will he do something next year...who knows?

our best player next to vladdy is ernie clement some released leftovers LOL good job on the depth chart shapiro and atkins! nice to see them put 200 mil on this overrated starting pitching and having nothing else to show for it. every year they also talk about bullpen yet this bullpen is terrible as expected!

Building a team around the runs saved/defensive metric in the infamous AL Beast?! Wtf were they thinking? When you lose the power of Marcus Semien and Teoscar Hernandez and don't replace that type of run production, then lookout in this division. These Cleveland boys gooses are cooked. 9 years of “stability and continuity” = massive fail. This will take 5 years to fix.

It's hard enough to get the big free agents this off season to come to Toronto. If they don't sign gladly they have zero chance of any big names coming to Toronto. To many holes to fill to compete in 2025 26. Also coming back with the same people in charge does not give the fan base any hope in the near future.

Well we started out with HR bats and hitting team with no pitching, then we get rid of the hitting and get good pitching, then we get nothing! WHO is really to blame for that!

I do think it's time to let Bo go, he has sustained injuries every year since coming up... unless he changes his hitting techniques; he isn't going to be a viable player. Addison Barger is a natural SS...so I say let him play there then reassess where Arjan is, as well as Addison.

Nine years. No playoff runs. Poor farm system. Failure to develop player performance. Huge payroll. Vlady and Bo will be gone. What exactly does Rogers see in this management team? Where would we be if they gave Alex nine years? Shadkins is now just a construction management team able to play the corporate game with the Rogers suits who could care less. We miss you Ted.

They get almost 40,000 for every home game for a last place team. That's what they see in this management team. They're very much like the Yankees that way. The Yankees are almost always no. 1 in attendance, even though they haven't won a WS in 15 years (and 1 WS in 23 years) with a top 3 payroll in baseball every year. It's the same reason why Hank Steinbrenner won't fire Brian Cashman.
