God bless. You are a wonderful young man. If only I'd been as brave as you when I was your age. You've touched me deeply.

You are a shinning gem in our community and you advice is tested and golden. Your struggle to escape from the oppression and to provide yourself with the results you achieved is amazing. As a person who too, grew up amongst the “hillbillies of Pennsylvania,” I commend you. Keep fighting - you are a “guiding light.”

Your story is so inspiring. I'm not even a gay person, but I am a human being who is going through a rough patch in life. Videos like yours help me see it as a rough patch, rather than "well, that's the way it is, and there's no way out." Your story about holding that gun to your head is so visceral and so touching. I'm glad you didn't go through with it, because you're here now to send this message. You are a hero, in your own way. Thanks for contributing.

Mark, this is wonderful. I was looking for a clip from Make it Better or It Gets Better to use in a presentation to college students and yours was the first I stumbled upon. I love that you continue to be courageous and make a difference in the world. Proud to have known you since your Emerson days - Kim W
