It's astonishing that Mark was once not comfortable with his voice as a backing vocalist, when he was good. Now he oozes confidence and he's AMAZING. Ol' Blue Eyes would have approved of this - it's a faithful rendition, and an incredible cover.
@rogerdaly63262 жыл бұрын
Well you have to keep in mind that Mark may have learned a thing or two about singing from none other than his partned in crime in Alter Bridge - Myles Kennedy ! If you're gonna have a teacher , Myles would be a great choice.

Pure Gold! Mr Tremonti has a smooth black coffee voice. He should sing more classics. Great production, too. I have a countryside house where I often listen to various Sinatra classics. This rendition is fresh almost everywhere it could be. Truly an impressive monument to Mark Tremonti's love for his daughter. We all are grateful for her this way.

"Smooth Black Coffee" might be the best description of MT's voice I've ever heard
@mr.nobody682 жыл бұрын
I think there's a little bit of sugar in his voice, too. Takes the bitter taste right out of the coffee And you said this is fresh on almost every way. I'm not a jazzhead. Would you please educate me? How could this be better? Not trying to be funny or controversial. Genuinely asking
@mateusz.w.nawrocki2 жыл бұрын
@@mr.nobody68 Sure. Simple - if you take any classic song and record it exactly the same way, just different performers, it feels stale, boring. The only way to pull it is to have a unique voice. Then again, I heard Sinatra songs by Seal, Buble, Rod Stewart and not always different voice makes it feel fresh. Here, the well known song is given some twists. E.g. I never heard the clarinet on this song before; I hear more prominence given to saxophone& the brass section and mr Tremonti's singing is subdued, not "in love with itself".

I just got to mark my last band off my "bucket list" when I saw the INCREDIBLE Alter Bridge in a 5000 seater in Houston on March 17th, 2023. Alter Bridge is simply the best rock band in the last 20 years(to MY 55-year old ears) . Mark and Myles Kennedy, Scott Phillips and Brian Marshall have morphed into Alter Bridge from the ashes of Creed and they are a SPECTACULAR hard rock/semi-metal band. This Sinatra side-project Mark did is just amazing too. Everything Mark touches turns to gold. Bravo.
