Warburton shouldn't have been sacked, I thought it was rather harsh at the time given the circumstances. He did a good job with the resources available and I certainly thought at a minimum Rangers should qualify for European Football in the 1st Year back in the Premiership. He was almoat certainly going to achieve that.

The statement released by Rangers said that he resigned on the Tuesday. Between that Tuesday and the story breaking that he resigned, he took multiple training sessions with the first team, and attended two pressers, as Rangers manager, talking about future seasons and transfer windows. There is no way any football club would allow a manager who had just resigned to do any of these things. Any other manager or player who left was gone the same day. They didn't continue to work for three days and prepare the squad for an upcoming game. Another thing, the club statement claimed Warbiola's representatives informed them of this. Anyone who knows anything about UK Contract or Employment Law knows that a resignation means nothing unless it comes directly from the actual person, not from an agent or lawyer.
