I was in the east enclosure that night. What a performance and I still maintain to this day that it’s the best atmosphere for 90 minutes of any bears game I have been at. It was incredible. 🇬🇧🔴⚪️🔵💙⚽️

I can beat that, i was at the Kiev game in 87. East enclosure, 14 years of age and I've never felt an atmosphere like it in my life. I was late going into the stadium, so when I entered it was full and the noise was deafening. It was the first and only time I tried to sing 5 songs at once, the Billy boys from the copland, the sash from the west enclosure etc, I was all over the place. Prior to this game, I went to 20 or so league games at ibrox over 2 years, when we had 12000 or so fans, so to walk into a full ibrox for the first time was pretty astonishing for me. I recall when I entered the stadium and standing there in awe, totally blown away and I was pretty intimidated by the atmosphere and then it kicked in. I ran down to the front of the enclosure losing my mates and sang for 90 mins. WATP🇬🇧

Buffon wearing the Rangers jersey. Useless trivia. Parma had some problem with their Gk strip. Think it was a clash but not 100% on the facts. Rangers gave them one and they stitched the badge etc on it. Might register with a lot of people now. Was always something at the back of my mind with that strip that night and on highlights which registered when i learned this fact

Before the injury on his way to being world wide known as a world class striker but even after the injury he changed his style and was still class just not world class player he could have been he would have went to the premiership and scored alot and got alot more Dutch caps and international goals

Brilliant memories the money that has been thrown into the English premier league has ruined football and its not jealousy if you take half of the foreign players out of the premier league then there would not have enough English players left its deprived to many English players from breaking through and not having a chance to play at a decent level
