GypsyRock one of the most stressful jobs out there. I was about to be hired in my 20’s. They talked about all the things they would allow us to do in between calls to help with that stress. We could read. Knit and other stress relief activities when it was slow because when shit hit the fan it was no joke. I ended up declining the job offer after orientation. I regret it to this day. But my sons were babies and working the night shift along with the stress, I worried about what kind of mom I’d be. Now in my 40’s I know I would have been great. But I didn’t know myself as well when I was 26. Hats off to them for sure!

Mazie Lincoln Legally it does matter. If she claimed alcohol induced amnesia, which I honestly believed she had considering how confused and disoriented she was acting, they wouldn't be able to charge her. When a blackout occurs you don't just forget what happened, the alcohol actually causes your brain to stop forming and storing memories. So even if she was there, fine, and interacting with the guys and the environment, she would have zero memory of it. You can't "prove" a blackout either, so it's on the prosecution to decide whether or not the claim is credible, and if they were able to determine how much she drank, it's likely they accepted the claim on the basis that they couldn't determine that she wasn't in that state. I think they're both pieces of shit, but based on the way they described her behavior in the apartment after Mark was killed, I think she was fucked up, confused, and scared of Rahul. If he did kill Mark, why the fuck would she not want to leave, you know? He could have chosen to kill her too. Just my opinion but it seems pretty clear to me.

@imaginepithynamehere42574 жыл бұрын
Glad I decided to scan the comments and read yours before saying the exact same thing. It really seemed to me that she was trying to use the old, "I was drunk" defence to lie her dude an alibi. (Not alibi; innocence. But the latter doesn't rhyme with "lie", and I love that phrase "lie me an alibi".) Seeing the amount of blood on the boyfriend vs. the girlfriend, and the fact that she would be bruised to shit, and probably've (it is a word now!!) gotten slashed a few times herself trying to stab a full grown man to death, tells us who did the wet work here. I would say she's an accessory after the fact. Was she being scandalous by flirting with other dudes? Yes, but that's not a crime, just being immature, insensitive, disrespectful, and shitty. You can't *make* anyone do anything with just your words, or non-physically-forceful actions; she didn't *force* her boyfriend to go berserker-mode on his best friend. That's all on him. There are so many other ways of handling that situation without killing someone. Leave the apartment. Kick out your friend and/or your girlfriend. Go to bed. Bring up your feelings and air out all the misunderstandings verbally. A yelling/shoving match is far preferable to killing your friend. This is far more verbose, and often redundant, than your succinct, hellatight comment. What can I say? I don't have much of a brain-to-mouth/keyboard filter, and love to hear/see myself pontificate.

bottomfeeder73 I feel the same as you. Btw, with all these true-crime shows on KZbin, everyone now knows that cameras are in those rooms, so they will play to it and not make any incriminating remarks. There are insecure women who flirt in front of their boyfriends, because they get a perverse thrill out of making their boyfriend jealous. They also get a feeling of being desired by both men. She appears to be that sort of woman, and it appears to me that her boyfriend neglected her or was bored with her, causing her to engage in such behavior. I think that she flirted with the victim at the apartment in front of her boyfriend, and he may have responded to her flirtations in such a way that it angered her boyfriend. I detect that her boyfriend has anger issues (and a sense of entitlement) even before it was mentioned, when he ordered her to get an attorney and hinted at suing. He grabbed a knife and attacked the guy. That's why the boyfriend and the victim were found on the floor with blood on both of them. Both were playing a game with the investigators. They pretended they didn't know what had happened to frustrate the investigators. The problem is that the boyfriend had made statements earlier that pointed to him, also the force of the thrust of the knife into the victim's back also showed that he did it.

Why should she be charged if she did not kill the guy? Sleeping around is not a crime in this country, unfortunately. I think you should be allowed to take vengeance in those situations. She didn't do anything except look hot to the other guy so he couldn't help himself. You never act out in Rage. The guy should have waited it out for a couple years and then took his vengeance in private. You have to be smart about these things. He could have taken Vengeance on the girl and the guy, later on. When that rage starts to rise you should run. According to our law, she did nothing wrong. I'm sure she was afraid he would kill her if she told the operator what really happened.

That's not exactly how the criminal justice system works @padma salam because in certain circumstances where physical evidence is minimal, at least initially, and the suspects are educated enough to know what they *don't give us* can't be used against them, you're left with uncooperative suspects, the body as a crime scene itself, and no other eyewitnesses giving you statements. That leaves only co-conspirator testimony. You have to dig, investigate, and probe until everything you have points solidly in one direction. It can either be the more culpable of the two, or if they were equally culpable you have no choice but to offer the first one to tell the truth a deal so the killer goes to prison and the family obtains at least a certain amount of closure. Sucks I know. I've had to bite my tongue many many times watching some dirtbag walk while the other half is asking his parents to buy him a tiny TV set because he herd the state penitentiary allows inmates to have one.

@ThatGirlLib5 жыл бұрын
They have to know what help they’re sending first. If someone has a weapon and someone else is hurt, the police have to come to secure the scene before help can be rendered. It’s protocol now since a lot of medical personnel have been injured on site. Also if there is a fire, they need to send the fire dept. no sense in the first responders be the police. What can they do. It’s very important that they find out from the caller what the situation is. If there is an active shooting, they can’t send an ambulance and risk their lives. Swat would be dispatched first. Even though someone needs help, the site will always have to be secured first and help second.

Taylor didn’t get any time at all? Bruh. Also. If I was Mark I would left immediately. Between those texts. If I can scan the awkwardness between a couple I’m bouncing.
@dc430835 жыл бұрын
Good points. I think that Taylor should have at least been charged with obstruction of justice if not as an accessory before the fact. Let the jury decide whether or not there is enough to prove it beyond a reasonable doubt. The justice system is extremely biased when it comes to charges/conviction rate between men and women. If Taylor had have been a man with all of the facts and statements being identical, I can almost guarantee there would have been charges. Also, Mark should have never gone back to their apartment in the first place! He may not have had a chance to leave between those texts as they said he was in the bathroom but he should have had enough sense not to inject himself into a situation with a quarreling couple at their apartment after a night of drinking past 2 am!
@FIONA21ful5 жыл бұрын
The awkwardness was him & her wanting to go at it but Gupta was there....else as you say, why didn't he leave? Stupid girl manipulating stupid boys for kicks...he had obviously had a bellyful of knowing she was humiliating him with all his pals and snapped in his drunken state.

@@Orlanzepol123 Yeah that's the surface reason but that's no real reason as we logical folks know! The truth is that he was enjoying the attention and the atmosphere of sexy secrecy between him & her . Unfortunately it vwasnt that secret as they were both too drunk to be subtle and Gupta had enough of being played for a fool by his close ones that night. All so pointless.
@BLACK05GO14 жыл бұрын
You can hear him yelling trying to get him off of him during the phone call. So he's obviously attacking him (still) during the 911 call (he was still alive). She was obviously in on it, because she didn't want to admit what was really happening to the 911 Operator. So they're both guilty.

AND SURPRISE!!! she went on to get her MBA and now works for the FDA....unreal. so what should be deduced is that she wanted mark to come back to the room to vouch for her...she was prolly very flirty w him and thats why he was saying he felt weird. she IS the smart one, she knows the only way the police can catch you is if you start talking so she plays the i dont remember game. SHE SHOULD BE IN JAIL too. at the end of the day she was in the room and she walks away scott free?! wow only for a white woman can you literally be in a room where a murder occurred, come out saying "i dont remember" and carry on with ur life. prolly out there dating someones son. and of course the woman says "its a hard memory for her to live with":wow what a joke

Raul’s “Get off me” and declining her a kiss to me are signs of disgust. Mark’s text messages suggests that Miss Forgetful is flirting or seducing him. This is a crime of sudden rage and jealousy. Raul probably fell asleep, Miss Taylor the Forgetful flirts with Mark probably innocently since she’s very inebriated. Raul woke up and saw everything then attacked Mark.

Innocent flirts? Shovel sh*t somewhere else. She knew exactly what she was doing. She probably threw herself on that dead boy thinking her crazy bf wasn't looking or was passed out, and he saw and lost it. That young man didn't want anything to do with her - he was trying to be a friend. There's no way he thought he was getting any with her bf there in a tiny room. I bet he was there cuz she asked him to be a buffer against her crazy bf - I bet she said she feared him. If he didn't die that night, it would have been her. He was there trying to be a decent friend. She deserves to be charged as an accomplice, for her lies and feigning amnesia, and for deliberately wasting time on with 911 while that young man bled to death, instead of helping him. She's sc*m. She was trying to kiss on her bf cuz she knew she drove him to kill and she didn't want to get blamed for it. She wanted to make sure he didn't try to blame it on her. Must be nice to be a flap of skin who gets to stand by while her bf murders an innocent man in front of her, because of her actions. She wanted him to be jealous and she got what she wanted. Wouldn't surprise me to learn she egged him on while doing it... and then had sex with him after, hence all the blood on her.
