I was a massive Davis fan in the 80s and resented Stephen coming on the scene. During the lockdown's I watched the Q&A videos and realised what a good guy he is and what a cracking sense of humour he has. Amazing video Stephen! I am pleased to see that you begun making this kind of content on youtube. I am a fan of yours since 2000 if I remember well, you made the game look so easy back then, event though I was like 6 or so, I quickly learned the basic rules and since then I always watch snooker with pleasure. I even played a real game once on a local pool club in my city. Kinda challenging for me, a non-native english speaker to understand scottish and welsh, but for the most part I understood you guys. Sadly, as Mark stated in the video, it seems the atmosphere and the matches are not the same as before, I don't know why, but I keep watching on Eurosport this wonderful sport, it's addictive sometimes to see the best fight for the trophies. My next suggestion of a match for the next video would be Mark Selby, my other favorite I have on this sport, since you retired in 2012 I kinda sympathized him, the way he played snooker, plus he seems to be my doppelgänger, event though I'm younger than him. I wish you best of luck and stay safe and healthy, Golden Boy. Greetings from Romania!

Hendry will always be the greatest for me. He was my boyhood hero! I think it's beautifully ironic that considering what he was apparently renouned for as a player ( reserved, antisocial, zero banter, etc ) and the constant negative reception he received from crowds especially the more successful he became that he is now genuinely thee best, most natural interviewer/commentator in the sport. His videos with other players especially Ronnie during covid were brilliant. I have to say that Mark Williams is without doubt my 2nd favourite snooker player ever. He plays shots that no other player in the world could pull off and he's just sound as f**k!!! He's got gid banter!

Okay, you can’t play as well as you used to, so be it, and kudos for the grace with which you take the loss of your skills. But I’m really glad you discovered and worked on this other talent so you can share the game in a different way. This is not something to be taken lightly. That was an instant subscribe. Love the video. The one I'd wanted to see most is unfortunately no longer among us: Paul Hunter. I think he was the one that could've given Ronnie a run for his money. Judd nowadays can sometimes do it, and Ronnie himself says Zhao Xintong is probably better than him at that age. Paul just had that flair that made him so special. So sad we lost him that early.

2 of my beloved snooker players. Only Steve Davis is missing because with him and you two it would be a dream come true for me to have a good time and play a few frames with them. And of course lots to learn...

The cueball was a couple of inches closer to the corner on the Masters black there. It was a pretty straight pot, not angled, which made it a little tougher.
