Interesting fact, second image (04:23) was inspired by one of the most popular Japanese folktales - *Tsuru no Ongaeshi* (The Grateful Crane/The Crane’s Return of Favor): Once upon a time somewhere in Japan there was a poor young man who once working on his farm. Suddenly, a white Japanese crane came down from the sky to the ground at his feet. The crane was injured by a bird hunter. The young man noticed that a sharp arrow pierced through one of its beautiful wings. He was sad and decided to take care of the crane. Then he pulled out the arrow from the injured wing and cleaned the wound thereafter. By the kindness of the young guy the bird was soon able to fly again. Luckily the crane was sent to the sky by the young man and said “Please be careful and avoid bird hunters.” Listening to this the crane circled three times over his head and then flew away. Darkness was about to arrive so the young man decided to get back to his house. A miracle happened when he just arrived at home. He saw a beautiful young lady was waiting for him that he never had seen before. The lady said “Welcome home, I am your wife” - hearing that the young guy indeed was surprised. Then he replied “I am a very poor guy, I can’t take care of you as my wife.” The lady answered “Don’t worry, I have plenty of rice and we could live together happily.” A miracle happened that the small sack of rice remained full always! As days passed by, one day the wife asked her husband to build a weaving room. In fact, it was a favor! However, once her husband finished building the room the wife said “You promise me that you would never peek inside.” By knowing that her husband replied “Ok, I won’t” then she shut the room’s door up herself and after weaving seven days constantly he came out from the room holding the most beautiful cloth he had ever seen. She advised to her husband to sell it to the market at a high price. The next day the young man sold it to nearby town for many coins. Then he returned home happily. After that again the wife returned to the weaving room to continue weaving. Seeing that her husband was very curious how actually his wife makes such a beautiful cloth so he had broken up the promise and peeked inside the room. Alas! He saw a beautiful crane was weaving a cloth instead of his wife, plucking out its own feathers and used as threads. Then suddenly, the crane noticed that and said “I am the crane that you saved on the other day. I just wanted to repay you and that’s for what I became your wife, but now you have seen my actual form so I can’t stay here any longer.” After that, the crane handed the cloth and said “I leave you this to remember me by.” The crane then flew away from the sight of the young man and disappeared forever, the crane never returned to the young man again. *Source:* www.kyuhoshi.com/2015/04/25/tsuru-no-ongaeshi/ *Copyright 2015 @ takkhis*

How do we make a love that lasts? Many would simply say such a thing isn't possible, but those seem people seem content with mediocrity, satisfied with dis-contempt, and are typically bitter, stuck up, self centered, dramatic, or depressed. The reality of it all is this: Nothing worthwhile comes without sacrifice, whether it be your own or another sacrifice, all worthwhile things require it. In modern society there is nothing more prevalent and destructive as pride, at the root of all conflict there is pride, this includes ones conflict within themselves. If you desire to find a love that lasts, I ask you this: what are you willing to give? In a society where focusing on oneself is considered to be most important that same society has the highest recorded rates of depression, suicide, bullying, and divorces. This is because over time a society like that will only come to seek pleasure, they will view love as a business deal fueled with passion, and in their pursuit of such things they will forget what true love is. It isn't love that conquers all, it is "True Love" that conquers all, and such a love is only found when we sacrifice for someone other than ourselves. Are we willing to suffer humiliation? Be uncomfortable? Give up something precious to us? Are you willing to swallow your pride? I do believe that slowly and steadily we are forgetting what humility is and what love is, and the importance of both. This is because what we actually seek is true humility and true love, the emphasis is on truth. Truth by definition cannot be dictated by one person alone, this means individual truth is a mere illusion and simply does not exist, but rather serves as an excuse or a denial of what we already know. Truth is universal in nature, it is and never has been confined by the views of a society, therefore there is nothing more enduring, more steady, and more powerful than the truth, this is also why the best lies have some semblance of truth in them. Truth is a powerful foundation to stand upon, but often times comes with a bitter pill to swallow, for truth requires humility. Half-truths are lies, for truth is only the truth if it is complete, lies often times bend it or remove parts of it for no other reason than selfish gain. This does not mean that a lie cannot help or protect someone, it simply means that we lie more often than we think. Why do I seem to be rambling and going off track? Because all these things are connected, they intertwine in so many ways, truth sets the foundation, humility opens us up to revelation, and love is the result of these things. Sacrifice is required to be humble, truth requires humility, and a love that lasts is built on truth, and when there is love there is humility and further discovery of truth. Not all cycles are destructive, some are good, and to find what is good we must first be willing to recognize the bad. Pride is more like a wall, deep inside we are hurt, we feel alone, injured, helpless, misunderstood, underestimated, robbed, violated, cheated, or even afraid, and our pride comes from these things. How better to distract ourselves from what truly bothers us than to focus on what doesn't, on what we are good at, how better to ignore our problems than to judge, to act as if we are better. Pride is not rooted in our strengths but rather in our weaknesses, therefore pride is a weakness, and pride is the wall we put up to ignore what we feel inside. The side effect of such an act is that all that is inside gets walled up, this includes love, joy, and contentment. Pride is the source of anger, when we feel wronged or afraid we come to hate what causes those feelings, and that hate becomes anger. Some people become incredibly aggressive and violent when someone has a differing opinion, this is often because of pride. We live in a society where people very rarely say "I'm sorry" and we also live in a society where people very rarely forgive. Love requires forgiveness, if we hold grudges they will pile up over time, eventually erupting to the surface, creating conflict, pain, and misery, and grudges are often held out of pride. Forgiveness is found in humility, when one is humble they find the strength to forgive anyone, including themselves. We often blame ourselves, we often hurt and attack ourselves, there is no harsher critic, no worse enemy than ourselves, and my advice is two words: stop it. Ask yourself the big questions, "Am I happy this way?", "Do I feel fulfilled?", "Do I feel as I could have done better?", "What do I feel guilty about?". None of those questions needs a reasonable answer, the best part about being human is knowing that not everything we do or say makes a lot of sense, and this is because we are flawed. We have strengths and weaknesses, and that is okay, and I think no one should ask more of you than to do your best. I think that is often times the solution, to keep trying and trying the best we can, and keep trying until we succeed. We gain nothing by giving up, we learn nothing by giving up, no conqueror conquered anything by surrendering. Life will hit hard, it will hit you at your highest and your lowest, life will be relentless, and I'm sorry if your hurting. These words often help me when I feel low: Light can exist without darkness, for darkness can only exist in the absence of light, truth can exist without lies, for lies are corruptions of truth, but lies are required to learn the importance of truth, darkness is needed to give us a fuller understanding of what light is. Joy can exist without pain and misery, but pain and misery can help us understand the worth of joy. Things are often more connected than they seem, this means we all are connected more than what we can see. If you are alone, you will find connection, if you are misunderstood, you will find understanding, if you are suffering, you will be blessed by what you learn. When we sacrifice we receive more in turn. If we give love to others, we will find it coming into our lives even more. If we show kindness we shall receive kindness. This is not because of some unknown force but rather the nature of humanity. When someone receives love, they are warmed and touched, and desire to share in turn, this results in love being passed around, this means sometimes all that is required is for one person to show love. When someone is kind to you, do you usually thank them? Are you usually more sympathetic and kinder to them? Love is not something we give ourselves, it is something we give. Kindness is something we can give to everyone, including ourselves. Hope is something we give ourselves, no one else can give us hope, therefore hope is our only true possession in life. Joy is found when we are surrounded by love, kindness, and hope. The only thing in this world that will last is purely spiritual, no physical thing will last forever. A statue will eventually erode away, a book will ultimately decay, the pages rotting away until nothing is left. If we put money as the ultimate goal, we will not find ourselves feeling content or fulfilled. If we put pleasure as our ultimate priority we will feel alone, misunderstood, and bitter. Not everything is worth pursuing, not everything is worthwhile, I have seen too many times people who were willing to give everything for that which is temporary, and this always left them feeling cheated, violated, and angry. The saying "be open to the possibilities" does not mean be willing to change, it means be willing to change your perspective. Ask yourself, what are my priorities? What leaves me feeling fulfilled? Is this something worthwhile? Is this worth it? Not all trades are good ones, not all sacrifices have a good result, but as we grow and learn we will learn what trades to make. If you feel as if you are too flawed or have made too many mistakes, I assure you, you have not. The wisest have made the most mistakes, the kindest have endured the most pain. Do not feel bad for being different, being different only means you have something different to give, something no one around you can. Take your time, sometimes a wall is necessary, like a dam that slowly lets the water into the river so there isn't a flood. Take today and do your best, and then after all is said and done, have the courage to say "I will try again tomorrow". I'm sure you will find your way, I'm sure you will find what you are looking for, whatever that may be. I'm sure that you will and can find peace, I'm sure you can find joy and happiness. I'm sure you can find love. When I do crossword puzzles I often find the words I wasn't looking for, sometimes I get so focused on finding that one word I get frustrated because I find everything else, maybe this applies in other places in my life. Now enough talking from me, now its your turn, go, do your best, I believe in you.

Keeper: why do you struggle to keep your head above the water? is it not hard? the weight of everything you stand for, the guilt that presses down on your shoulders, the disappointments that you suffered through your life, sometimes you just want to let it all go and sink into the water. down into the depths, it's so inviting and peaceful there, no more struggling, no more fighting, just a silent peace as everything around you slowly grows darker. but you still fight. why? I never understood why you humans keep struggling even though your very existence brings you so much pain. why do you fight? why do you continue to believe that things will get better? it is the curse placed upon to humans by the creators, to continue to suffer as you slowly waste away. but why do you hope? why do you never let go of that hope that things will get better? what makes you so stubborn, what makes you continue to fight against all odds, why do you find happiness in a world that can only bring you despair? why is it that you humans even in the depths of your desolation never let go of the reason you feel this way? your life? it's masochistic, illogical, incomprehensible. what is it that forces you to keep going even after all is done and all is lost? what makes you keep your head above the water even when you have to carry an over burdening amount of weight on you as you suffer to take just one more breath? why is that? Elona: because it's the struggle that ends up giving us the hope that things will get better. it doesn't matter how painful it is, or hopeless. if I can get that one moment of happiness, I will gladly keep fighting to find that happiness. I will carry the weight of my burdens and fight to keep my head above the water. I will fight for every gulp of breath until I find that happiness that I've been searching for. for this reason I will continue to fight and never give up. because that is what a human does. we are foolish creatures that never learn, but that is what makes our will so powerful. no matter what comes my way, I will continue to live for that is what it means to be a human. that is the gift that comes with our curse. can you really call your existence "living" when you don't have a moment of suffering, a moment of despair?

Drowning in a sea of clouds, Trying to see through life’s shrouds… I’ve lost my way from up and down, Have I been just a fool in a gown? As I Fall like the sands of time, Making sense like a broken rhyme… Searching for the truth to set me free, Now it feels so surreal to me. Drifting on the cloud stream Looking for the golden dream… Walking around the hot spring as I make a song to sing; about seeing life covered in snow and how it makes the world glow… It’s so cold and cruel, but also warm and cool. this frozen cold land makes winter so grand, it warms my heart and that’s the best part… the snow has ended the lakes have filled the flowers are splendid the spring is thrilled to be back in full force as the wind starts ascending, from an unknown source with the colors all blending as the dream goes it’s course till the happy ending... +Ironraindrops - which of the threesome is the best? songs, poems and anything not addressed ;)

I was almost completely below the surface of the water and I tried my best to keep my head above the surface so that I could breath. At first I felt panic inside myself. I didn't want to disappear below the surface and suffocate, I wanted to live. My heart beat so fast that it felt as if my chest would explode. It was at that time that I remembered the conversation I had had with my father all those years ago when I was playing in the water as a kid. "If you ever fall into the water, don't panic", he had said. "Just relax and stay still and you will end up floating on the surface. I know it sounds silly but this advice can be a life saver for you one day." Remembering those words I made a deep sigh and stopped moving. I relaxed and before I knew it I was floating on the surface of the water. My body was slowly moved around by the waves. "Thanks for teaching me that father", I thought to myself and I smiled. "I will never forget your wisdom ever again." The snow was falling heavily as I went outside of my warm and cozy house. The moment I stepped out, I started to shiver from the coldness. "It's so cold", I mumbled to myself. "Must be the coldest day so far this winter." As I wondered around my house, I suddenly encountered two big birds. They were flapping their wings as if they were fighting the falling snow. Their beauty made me stop for while and I just stood there and looked at them. They must have noticed me because soon, one of them looked back at me and after that the next one did the same. For a couple of minutes, we were just looking at each other without uttering a single sound. Then suddenly, one of the birds started to flap his wings and he flew in my direction, settling down only half a meter away from me. He looked at me and I looked back at him. "Are you hungry little friend?", I asked him and smiled. "It must be difficult for you both to find food right now but I can give you something in the meantime". I remembered that I had two pieces of bread in my pocket that I hadn't eaten during the lunch. I had planned to eat it later but I realized that these two birds needed it more than I did. I picked up the two bread pieces in my hand. "One for you my friend", I said and reached out my hand towards the bird that had landed in front of me. He looked at me for a few seconds as if was wondering whether I was serious or not. Then he quickly picked up one of the bread pieces and ate it. He made a sounds as if to thank me and then he flew away. The second bird then came up to me and picked up the second bread piece. He made the same sound as his friend and then took off. I looked up at them as they were flying through the sky and I didn't take my eyes from them until they had disappeared completely. "Take care both of you"I mumbled quietly for myself and then, with a smile on my face, I went inside my home again to get some warmth. As I sat there in my small boat in the middle of the night I could see the beautiful night sky. I saw all those beautiful stars up there as well as the planet's moons. I was amazed of how beautiful the universe could really be. It was so wast and fantastic. The view filled me with so much euphoria. I picked up the flowers that I had picked up the very same day and held them up in the air. The wind increased and picked up the flowers and had them all fly away into the night. For a short moment it almost felt as if they joined the stars and the planets up there and were dancing together with those. I laid down in my boat and for several hours I just watched the night sky without uttering a single sound. Any sound, no matter how small it was, would ruin everything.

A poem for the first song. There is no depth to sadness. No bottom floor that our feet will touch. It is an endless abyss that only becomes deeper Darker as long as we feed it our heart Our lives, our soul, our happiness, our love We keep giving it pieces of us until we become Monsters ourselves who only seek to take What we've lost, but to never find joy or fulfillment We become lost beings who seek for a light that Never appears to be our savior So we sink, sink as our weight drags us down Wishing for a helping hand, someone to save us From our own destruction, to guide us to where We can smile from the bottom of our hearts Where we can be honest with ourselves and Express our smiles and feelings so easily Without scare and fright of what the world thinks

A stream of golden light flowed out into the night. Its warmth defiantly challenging the icy northern breath. To the man watching from afar it was a beacon of hope in the frozen wasteland of his heart. How long had it been? A day, a month, a year? A lifetime... The man was about to turn away; to return to the world he deserved, when a lone silhouette emerged surrounded by a halo of light. A glimmer of humanity sparkled briefly in his empty eyes. It was quickly smothered by a gust, its cruel winds stirring the gentle flakes into a frenzy, obscuring his salvation. His feet moved. What was he doing? He wondered to himself. Yet he was driven onward by a strength of will he had believed to be long lost. Branches struck out of the darkness, tearing into his flesh. Withered brambles clawed at his feet, causing him to stumble. At last they succeeded in their relentless task, and he fell, succumbing to futility of his efforts. He had forgotten what it was that drove him to struggle against fate in the first place. As he lay there, slowly merging with the white surroundings, a dark figure materialized in front of him. A small voice that was all that was left of his consciousness whispered that the feathered creature was an old friend. Its beady red eye glared at him, then the crane turned and began to stalk away. "Wait..." he gasped shallowly. The crane paid no head to his plea and continued away from him. Summoning the last of his strength, he crawled, barely managing to keep it in sight. with hands torn by half buried underbrush and quivering arms he collapsed, unable to continue. The crane disappeared into the white. He watched it go, a single tear forming an icicle on his cheek. A single shaft of light cast an orange glow on his face. It was soon followed by a wave that washed over his still form, bathing him in its deceptive warmth. And then, the silhouetted angel was there, crane upon her shoulder. She knelt at his side, pulling his head into her lap, uncaring of the ruin of her silk dress. Blue eyes stared down into his. Creased worry widening to the surprise of recognition. "My King, it is over." She spoke in a light, melodious voice. It was the most beautiful thing the man had ever heard. "The peace you have striven so hard to attain has been won. Worry not for the loss of your companions, for they are nestled in the warm embrace of the Keeper. Their sacrifice turned back the dark tide before it could destroy us all. So rest now, my husband. All shall be well until we meet again." His eyes grew dim and his breath ceased its ragged gasping. A smile of peaceful contentment graced his face. The Queen buried herself in his chest. Her body racked by sobs. A single golden orb of light rose from his still form. It swirled amongst the falling snowflakes and the crane watched it curiously as it shot up into the crisp air, gliding over the houses of a small city. It was soon met by the several other lights that rose from the cheering crowd as their brave warriors returned, falling out of their stiff ranks to embrace those they had left behind. The lights swirled together in a glorious dance over the the joy and heartbreak that mingled beneath them. Then, with one accord, they shot off towards the lightly glowing horizon where the Sun promised to cast Her warmth upon the world once more.

Tatsuke: Hey, before you leave. I want to give you something. Mimasa: I won't be gone long, I'll come back soon. You'll see. Tatsuke: Here, just take it. I want you to have it. Mimasa: What is it? Tatsuke: It's a music box. Open it. *Mimasa opens the music box Tatsuke: Go on, turn the handle. *Mimasa turns the handle Mimasa: Is that.... Tatsuke: Yeah. Your favourite song. Mimasa: Tatsu... Tatsuke: Something to remember me by. Mimasa: Thank you, Tatsu. Wait for me. I'll be back! Tatsuke: I will always wait for you. *2 Years pass by Mimasa comes home to a burned down village. Only ashes remain of her home. She searches for Tatsuke everywhere but doesn't find him. She drops to the ground and cries her lungs out. The village elder comes over and consoles her. *The war has finally ended, after 7 years of bloodshed the two kingdoms have finally signed a peace treaty. Mimasa returns home to rebuild her village. She is now married with 2 children. Mimasa: We'll rebuild in no time. This village is the people, not the buildings that once stood here. Tatsuke: That's right. *Mimasa turns around and looks at Tatsuke like she's seen a ghost. Tatsuke: Hi. Mimasa: Tatsu.... how.... Tatsuke: It's been so long. You did come back. Mimasa: I... Tatsuke: I'm just glad you're back. Mimasa: Where have you been? Tatsuke: I never left. I made a promise, didn't I? Mimasa: Tatsu.... I... I'm sorry. *Mimasa picks up a picture of Tatsuke on the ground and holds it close to her heart. She takes out the music box and puts the picture inside it. The End.

to remember the way life treats us, it's a sorrow life and end in our lives. loved ones will remember us as we were but hatred and loneliness still wander with us into the afterlife. I can't say that all memories will be happy and exciting but most of them are filled with sorrow and pain. a pain we will never forget as children and adults.

The man on the bus next to you, his daughter might be dying. That girl, that you tease in class, her only escape may be her books. Your teacher, the one who picks on you so much, her life is driving her so nuts, she just wants to leave. Your daughter, your sister, could be feeling so much agonizing pain right now that it's unbearable. Think about it. There are so many lost souls out there. Maybe even you are one. Please help them find themselves back again. That boy at school that sits alone at lunch? Welcome him to yours. Do anything to make people BELONG. Save the world, and pass the message on. (I am the original creator though, this was not passed on to me) Because everyone is one.
