@@hmoobmeeka Fresno is where to go. The Hmong own a lot of resturants in town, but mix in Hmong and Thai style. For instance you can have papaya salad with or without padaek sauce. Love watching your show Mark. The mustard green vegetable soup is my husband's favorite. I'm Hmong and he's Vietnamese. My 91 year old mom spoils my husband by growing this vegetable for him every year. I make the broth with fresh lemongrass and he just love it. He also loves the chicken with all the fresh Hmong herbs (tshuaj nrau qaib) We raise our own chicken and it is so much better than Tyson chicken 🤭 I'm opening my restaurant in 2 months and I am going to serve Hmong pho on the menu. A true authentic Hmong dish on a sunny day is Hmong cucumber with sugar (kaus dhib nrhog sugar) My mom introduced this to my husband and he loves it. He takes it to lunch anytime he goes to work in the ER. He especially loves it in the summer bc it's freshly picked from her garden.
