Hi, planning to visit Chiang Mai during the first week of April, heard about the burning season there. Can you please provide me with any information about that?
@worldwildhearts
@worldwildhearts 10 ай бұрын
Yes the burning season means dry rice fields and lots of smoke in the air... it's not the ideal time as air pollution is pretty bad during that time. In southern Thailand you won't notice it at all, but the north does as there are many rice fields / farmers living there

Hi! We didn't do hiking other than in Doi Inthanon National Park near Chiang Mai. It's a lot cooler up there so better for hiking! You can also look into Doi Suthep, which is close to the city. Not sure why anyone would want to visit CM. I'm here in CM now and it looks like a war zone. The sidewalks are torn completely apart forcing you to risk your life walking on the bust roads. It's shocking. If you're older all it takes is one fall and you could end up with a broken hip. try checking the survival rate of broken hips. They often end in death due to infections acquired in the hospital. CM is a major no-go zone. It's too bad none of these YTbers are interested in warning people about the dangers and bad sides of countries like Thailand. Rape is also very common in CM as are deaths on the road.
