Thank you, clear explanation of the different Compressore controls, to help understand compression generally. I like the pedal and just bought one :)

Se le puede dar uso en guitarra eléctrica también??👀

Totalmente. Aunque otro modelo de compresor iría mejor, porque este es de bajo. Pero en realidad no son tan distintos.

is this suitable for 8 string guitar?
@Tune4media5 жыл бұрын
Facepalm Jesus It’s hard to tell because it mostly depends on what you’re looking to get out the eq. On the low side of 8 strings guitars, there are a lot of common frequencies with the low part of bass. So if you’re looking for using this pedal like a typical bass player would use (fatten up or tighten up the sound) than it actually can be a pretty useful pedal for you. Hope that helps.
@facepalmjesus16085 жыл бұрын
@@Tune4media yeah i was thinking the same thing since my tuning is even lower than the standard 8 string. for tighten up the very low freqs and some analog warmth from tubes is always welcomed...ty

Great video! Any idea where to find replacement tubes for this pedal? I've looked online and couldn't find much info about it.

Hello Dude, try to write directly to Markbass.com they are great people and will sure help you out. I have found the replacement recently and if I could find the link, will help you out. cheers

The tube is a "standard" ECC83 a.k.a. 12AX7, most tube preamps use them. In preamps, different brands of tubes react a bit differently as they don't all have exactly the same saturation curve. I replaced the one in my Compressore with a 5751 as it has a bit less gain & is a little cleaner & more resistant to parasitic noise.
