Has anyone compared this to the Markbass Vintage 500w? This seems to be an updated version of that, but I can't find any direct comparisons other than pointing out the obvious difference in the knobs & switches on the faceplates.

It's a shame they didn't keep the tone preset knob from the original Vintage 500. It was a better idea than the fiddly toggle switches which replace it. If they'd kept that - and added the dual parametric mid EQs - I would have definitely bought this amp.
