It’s not just so much easier for carrying your camera. Using your camera without a strap is so much nicer as far as handling and ergonomics go. In fact it was getting a new backpack, which meant that it was easier to take my shoulder strap off the camera and the improved experience using my camera without a strap,made me seek an alternative way to carry my camera. I ended up with a Nitze clip and I would never go back. I truly recommend taking the strap off your camera and look for an alternative way to carry it without a strap.

Since I have ordered a TreeRoot tripod (based on your review), I would like to enter the F38 ecosystem but to be honest the product catalog is quite disconcerting. Regarding the plates, there is the 2268 and the 2270 which is multi-holes, what is the difference? It seems that there are also 3 different plates: the original 2269, the anti-deflect 2401and the new v2 2401A. Which one to get? I have also found a base plate for the Weebill S. Will it be compatible with the Weebill 3E as well? Or can I simply add a 2268 base to the original Weebill 3E? I'm so confused and the Ulanzi website is pretty messy as well.
@MarkBennettCameraCrisis4 ай бұрын
The 2268 is the baseplate and top plate combo. the 2270 is just the baseplate of that unit. don’t worry too much about it - anything that has f38 will work. Here is what I would get - the multihole kit because it gives you the most options. it will have the base plate (3364) and the plate to attach to your gear. (3301). here is the link www.ulanzi.com/collections/falcam-f38-quick-release-series/products/falcam-f38-multi-hole-quick-release-kit-f38b3404?aff=574t You can fasten the base plate to your gimbal too without needing a specific weebil plate. then buy a few more of the 3301 plates to put on your other gear. It’ll be easier when you see it in person.

It fits on backpack straps well - but most backpack strap are padded so it's best to use a clamp wrench to help you put it on easily and save your fingers from the twisting of those little screws. Check out David Mannings video on how he does it. kzbin.info/www/bejne/aWTXqKBrqr13q6M
