NEW LIVERY ON A DC-9? Ameristar NEW LIVERY DC-9-15 (DC91) departing Montreal (YUL/CYUL)

In July 2021, Dallas based cargo carrier Ameristar Jet Charter unveiled
it's new livery!
The airline operates a fleet of DC-9, 737-200 and Falcon 20's!
Ameristar flies to Montreal (YUL) from time to time on cargo charter flights
using mainly DC9 or FA20, but this is the first visit of the DC9 new livery!
What do you think of the new look? I am a big fan of it!
There is also a Chrono B732 departing too; not to many videos out there of a B732 and DC9 departing in this day and age.

80's for me - I was a supervisor at Sunworld Airways at LAS we had 4 DC-9-10's & 2 DC-9-30's plus 4 brand new 737-300's - it was a special time!

I flew many times on DC-9-10's from Chicago Midway. When lightly loaded they blasted off the runway like a fighter jet pushing you back in the seat. Douglas built them like a tank!

Yeah, in fact I saw that same DC-9 at CNO in April 2022 and 727-200F N209TR departed 10 minutes before this same DC-9. So yeah, seems like this happens when this DC-9 visits airports.

Chrono's black 737 is stunning ! The new Ameristar livery is definitely more modern; I like it but I would have added a STAR to dot the "i" in Ameristar. Someone should suggest it to them. Great video again Mark.

Air Canada DC 9 was a regular flights with me and they were rockets 😁 I remember taking a flight from Edmonton to Vancouver on one and we maybe had 50-60 people on board, we left the ground pretty quick, good planes I grew up flying on 😎

No, never with TWA. Both aircraft in the video are among 19 DC-9-15RCs delivered to Continental Airlines in 1967/68. They "RC" indicates "rapid change".They were built with a main deck cargo door and were convertible for both cargo or passeger service. Air Canada acquired 8 of those aircraft from Continental in 1972/73, including both aircraft in the video. They were used by AC for a short-lived cargo service as well as in passenger service. They were all sold to Air Florida between 1977 and 1981 and had many other operators prior to their current service with Ameristar cargo. Amazing that they're still flying after 55 years. Douglas built them to last. Re the registrations, TWA did have 2 707-131Bs with the same N783TW and N785TW registrations from 1962 to 1982. At Continental they were registered N8902 and N8907.
