I have always used cheap cutting tools, mine is so old and came out of Woolworths but does vibrate a little now . I have a newer one but the the old one is still going. The worse thing is the on switch as it's a slide as well for speed and it moves on it's own now, might be the time for retirement.
@MarkBryanRC Жыл бұрын
Hi Mal and many thanks for watching. Wow, amazing your Woolworths special still works! But yeah, could get a bit dangerous with the speed setting, safer to use the new one. All the best, mate!

Glad you liked it, thanks a ton, Craig! Yeah this tool is pretty cool, sent for review but I'd honestly buy one after testing it. That little clear guard, the variable chuck and the flexy shaft are my highlights, makes working easier and safer! This will definitely get used on a few RC projects! All the best, matey! 😎👌👍

Hiya mate. Well somebody needs to fnarr about your flexible shaft and I think it should be me! I'm sure others have too! Anyway that looks really great mate and it's got loads of useful accessories. I've just got a cheapy eBay one and it does the job. I always forget that I could use it with the cutting discs to cut metal sheet instead of using a hacksaw. Great work on the video and the test. Best wishes for the weekend 😁🍺🍺🍺

Well I gotta say I was banking on you to crack a shaft based joke, and only rcwreck-creation beat you to it!!! 😅 But seriously, mate, yeah these tools do make a lot of RC based jobs a little easier. I didn't like those smaller cutting discs as I had a few shatter. Those discs made of fibreglass were bloody brilliant though, I recommend them highly mate 👍 Many thanks for the great comment my friend, best wishes back at ya! 🤗👊👍

G'day Mark! 😁 Great video mate👌. That's a great tool & thanks for showing your test drive of it. I have a dremel & after watching your video I want to check if I can remove the flexible drive on mine. G'day mate! Thanks so much for tuning in! 🙏 Oh yeah these tools are ideal for our little car hobby! That flexy shaft adds a whole new level of control doesn't it? Hi there Mark, and a wonderful tool test. You’re becoming a bit of a master craftsman and perhaps give Norm Abram! 😂😂 I think the only phrase to add, would be ‘ be sure to read, understand and follow all the safety rules about the power tool, being able to use the power tool properly, greatly reduces the risk of injury, and remember this, there is no more important safety rule than to wear these, safety glasses 😂😂😂. Awesome review my friend. Best wishes to you all 😊😊
@MarkBryanRC Жыл бұрын
Hello and thank you John! Yeah I did record a part about safety issues but the video was so long I had to edit it down! You really shouldn't use one of these tools without protection, 40,000 RPM is crazy fast and anything flying off it is gonna do some damage! I need you to write the warnings in my descriptions!!! Many thanks for watching, take care my friend! 😎👌👍

Good stuff dude!!!! Remember to wear safety glasses while using such a tool, more so with those cut off wheel.. I had a thin cut off wheel break during use and had a piece stick into my cheek.... If that went into an eye OUCH!!! I never got a chance to look for anything cause Jen came home with a Dremel for me last year... I will keep this in mind however... Great video mate and ATB & take care!!!!!!

Hi Bob and thanks as always for being here! Oh yeah, gotta wear goggles and a mask, I also had a couple of those thin cut off wheels shatter and the parts fly off at about 200mph! Sorry to hear you were injured, that's such bad luck! I'm sure the Dremel is great, it's just this one is cheap as chips and still a great tool! ATB to you and the gang! Cheers! 😎👌👍

Thanks for your review. Do you know if this would be compatible with a stew Mac precision router base that is designed for a dremel? It has a threaded input. So does this tool have same threading around the end of tool like a dremel?

Hello, my mandrel won't stay in. I thought I had followed your video, pressed the red button but the shaft part, with the cutting wheel won't stay in. Could you tell me if I've missed a piece, that keeps it in?
@MarkBryanRC3 ай бұрын
Hi Sarah, the kit comes with 3 brass chucks - the bits that hold the shafts of the different tools - and there is a smaller one that will fit the cutting disk tool. You need to unscrew the black hex collar from the tip of the rotary tool and swap the chuck. Hope this helps, let me know if you are still having trouble!
