Thanks again bai for sharing my beautiful Tacloban City . I’m a proud Waray waray . I grow up in this city went there from high school until I finished college . I do miss my place . Yes it’s a beautiful city with a lot to offer too . It takes you two days to go over the city . After it was devastated by the super typhoon Yolanda tacloban was able to get back on its feet in a short time. Every time I miss Tacloban I always think about the beautiful San Juanico bridge. When I was in high school we were allowed to walk the San Juanico bridge from Leyte side to Samar side . These days there’s some resorts near the bridge and restaurants with the view of the bridge. Again, thanks for showing my Tacloban City . You’re always welcome to visit again .

You are most welcome. I am happy to read comments of nostalgia like this that is why I see to it do do a vlog or walking tour everytime I visit a city. I was impressed with how Tacloban has managed to stand despite the Yolanda. I can't wait to visit again your city. Amping..

Museum, is that the house of late Pres Marcos? Ang ganda ng detailing ng interior. It seems First Lady Imelda Marcos really proud of Pinoy finish details. Nakakamangha yung mga Wall decor and paintings, yung ginamit sa wall na Banig ba yun at saka I saw bamboos dinagdag sa house beams. And also the ceilings more of pinoy ang finish ng interior details. Thumbs up!

Thanks Ninang. Hmmm di talaga xa bahay di rin nila tinirahan parang for show lang talaga at cguro yung mga collection na binigay sa kanya. Yes sobrang Pinoy talaga yung mga rooms inspired to Philippine provinces din..

That’s Sto Nino shrine, it’s a museum that’s showcases the Filipino cultures and heritage. It’s a beautiful museum . Actually, that’s the site of Imelda Marcos’ ancestral home their house in Tacloban but they have another house in nearby town Tolosa . We used to visit the museum for free before we just make an appointment. For the records nobody or the Marcos family never stayed there every time they’re in town they stayed in Tolosa . The next building is the People’s center and Library .One of the biggest library in the region with books donated by Franconia library in New Hampshire. It also showcased the Filipino cultures and downstairs it used to be a convention center where there’s a lot of conferences graduation and other activities held there for free you just booked ahead . Actually both my high school and college graduation was held there . Again, thanks for sharing.

Thanks for your concern . Sto Nino shrine used to be beautiful and clean years ago during the 80’s . For whatever reasons I dunno whoever in charge of it did not maintain the place the way it was before. We used to play / hangout on its grounds during off school we were allowed as long as we don’t litter the place and not too much noise . It’s really heartbreaking to see how the shrine look at this time.. Thanks again.
