@@aldenescabarte I love Tacloban. My wife is from Hindang, Leyte. Every time we flow into Tacloban, my wife and I enjoy the skyline of the city. Specially when the aircraft approaches the runway...the emerald water in your side, depending which end of the runway the aircraft makes it final descent. Stunning!!! In 2014...We were both devastated by the ravaging impact of Yolanda as seen from the air, when our aircraft made its final round for the approach. But it has changed since the calamity; and we are both delighted to see the progress after 8 years. Thank you for keeping us in the loop. Keep the good work; and appreciate much for Sharing!

In Baybay City, you should check out Eastern Clouds (we have a video) and Lintaon Peak for a scenic view of Camotes Sea and downtown Baybay. If you have time, you can go Island Hopping in Cuatro Islas in Inopacan town (30 mins south of Baybay) or Canigao Island in Matalom town (1 hr south of Baybay). Enjoy! 🤗

Nice video, guys! I always enjoy your vlogs! I remember Yolanda so well! It happened less than a month before I told my ex-Ormocanon wife that I was divorcing her because of her adultory. The typhoon tore the roof off our very strong house in Ormoc and destroyed most of the windows. As I cannot own land in the Philippines, the house that I had put so much money in was now hers, but so were the repair costs. It took my ex more than two years to collect enough money to repair everything. If anyone doubts that Karma exists ... ;-)

Thanks for this production. Very informative, entertaining, and visually pleasing. I was struck by the part where the oldest resto in Tacloban, Felisa's Cafe, is featured. That segment reminds me of my childhood more than 5 decades ago when my grandparents would send me an errand to this resto to order what I considered my best dish that the resto could have at the time -- chop suey. Now, each time this dish figures as part of the whole menu in a catering service, I always compare it to how Felisa's Cafe prepared it during my childhood. No comparison, I would think. FC's preparation always stands out the best until now. I just want the editors to check on the subtitles. There are typo slips that I notice -- spelling and grammar, to be specific. But as a whole, it's a good vid production. Congrats.

@@aldenescabarte - the entire length of the bridge is a no passing zone. Smh. I was in that bridge in 1980 with my mom. We took a tricycle from Tacloban to the bridge. But we were stopped midway by the military who had a checkpoint at the halfway point of the bridge. The reason for turning us was because at that time the NPA was active in Samar.

I still can't believe Eastern Visayas' regional capital is still underdeveloped/destroyed. Malayo pa magkaroon ng High rise sa Tacloban.. High rise to skyscrapers buildings will only happen if Tacloban will have its own Central Business. But Central businesses will also only happen if Tacloban City will improve its quality for livelihood, infrastructure and business friendly environment. Hoping for a big investor gud na mag butang ha Tacloban. In Cities in the US, like Detroit Michigan in the 50's and 60's, an na buhi han economy nira mismo an Car Manufacturing, GMC in particular. Big players in Washington State or Seattle is Boeing, Amazon, Facebook, Google, The North Face, etc. thus na hitaas liwat an cost of living and of course, livelihood. We have Bohol and ira Tourism, an Cebu may TIMEX manufacturing nira, BPO's, tourism, etc. Boracay and Palawan is Tourism. Tacloban ano man it aton so far?

The hotel looks nice however it seems like too modern for me. Im such an old soul and i like nostalgia and classic elegance like that of the Sto. Niño Palace. Still i have to say that its a nice hotel...
