Well, the long ordeal of dealing with my Dad's estate is nearing an end, so I finally brought the last thing he handed down to me home. Check it out...

The difference between You Tube creators and TV and the like is that You Tube creators are more than their videos. You have brought us into your life so videos other than trains are part of who you are. Thank you.

Wow... absolutely gorgeous, even with the cat pee wheels. I wish a won the lottery, because I'd buy it at a price that it deserves, to honor your Dad.

My late father had a similar 1950 Mercury Coupe with fold down, rear jumper seats facing each other. He hot-rodded it, but decided to sell it when I was 2. My mother also had a purebred Arabian Horse she sold off upon starting their family.

Really cool. The paint is such a nice color. My dad owns a couple old cars (56 & 66) & they are a trip to drive.

Nice trophy Mark. Maybe clean it up and take it to one of the auction houses near you. Maybe the Mecum Auction on TV one day. Thanks for sharing.

Hey Mark I’m sorry for your loss. Prayers for your family. Listen that definitely is an awesome car. Love the color and the style. And it runs great. Sounds good! I don’t see why you wouldn’t get a decent price for it. It would make someone a really nice car.👍❤️

What a fine machine! We had a '51 Dodge 4-door with an inline 6. Sit on the fenders....built like a tank. You have a gem of a piece of art!😀

Sorry to hear about the passing of your father. That's tough to deal with. My dad is still with us. His car still looks very good!! Glad you are able to keep it looking so good despite what the cats have done to the rims. My dad is also a hot rod guy. I can appreciate how they look But do I want one? No

Whitewalls! Great interior, too. This was right out of left field (your specialty?) My Dad had a '50 Merc bought new and kept stock. I guessed the guy who eventually bought it was going to hotrod it. Yeah, let the grandkids fight over it down the road. Those are the ones that are keeping the spirit of hot rods alive and running.

Wow what a nice car God Bless your dad for keeping and restoring it. Get it professionally detailed then have it appraised and put your price on it someone will buy it, too nice to just sit around. Yes let the grandkids have it if they appreciate and will take care of it. Thank you for showing us your dads car I know he loved it because of how it was taken care of and the money spent.

Thanks for the personal story. My condolences to you and your family. If you have no immediate need to sell this beauty and your grandsons have an interest in it, you might consider waiting a while longer, regardless of prices, before you put it up for sale. The grief and the grind of dealing with everything else may have you still emotionally stressed enough that just letting it go makes sense now. Perhaps in a few more months your perspective will shift a little bit. I respect any personal choice anyone makes. I have had the experience if grief cloud my judgement, so I only offer this as my story, not as advice to you. I love your channel and learn alot from your videos. I appreciate your humble nature as you aknowledge times you do not know certain aspects of railroading and do not pretend you do. Keep up the good work!

beautiful car. again, sorry for your loss. research the detailer you take it to. there's a lot of bad ones out there who use rough chemicals and techniques

Enjoyed the look at his car, worked on many a car in my younger days out of necessity rather than enjoyment. I can always appreciate the love for detail that some folks have for cars. His car makes me think of the car in American Graffiti that the club guys had when they tied the chain to the cop car. Thanks for the video.

The price of these is NOT going to go up... sell while you can... put the money to their college funds. Contact Hoovie from Hoovies garage.... he might buy it.

Sweet ride, I say keep it drive have fun. Local car shows are fun. Sorry to say you offer prices are in the ballpark. Thing is those cars are a labor of love you most likely will never get your money back. The folks that like those cars are getting up in years and lost interest or ability. Driver her like you stole it, that's what your dad wanted!
