Nice one. Guess copper grease is a no no on the sliders. Bummer, mine have just been done with that when new pads were fitted.
@Iveavan Жыл бұрын
No, not ideal as its only good for anti seizing compound and heat transfer not brilliant at being an lubricant over time bud 😉👌👍.

Mark if you're going to the trouble of a strip down of the calipers I would see if I could sand blast them,how long did the whizzy wheel take and are you happy with the results ? I did one a couple Yr back and it took me 2 days from frustration but still OK.
@Iveavan Жыл бұрын
Yes, of course if you've got a sandblast cabinet it will do the job bud👌👍 probably an investment for the future 🤔 if I'd could find a decent second hand one locally. But on the other hand, I could buy new calipers for a cost of a sandblast cabinet. Mine to be fair, wasn't too bad to sand down, about 45 minutes for each one and yes, very happy with the end result matey 😉👌👍👍👍.

@IVEAVAN great stuff Mark, including the emgine,brakes,welding and suspension its like a new van !! how you doing with the interior ?
@Iveavan Жыл бұрын
Cheers Stu 👌👍. I've kinda done this backwards, I was going to do the interior first then do the exterior next (in summer). But due to the rear leaf springs I've had to do it this way, I haven't touched the interior yet, I can't until the end of April as we are away in the van in mid April, but these things are sent to try us 😅😉👌👍👍👍.
