The last hole was pretty nice. Great hybrid from Mark and amazing 3 iron and putt from Matt. Well played. I just wait for these episodes like for tv series and I enjoy it even more ;)

Loving Mat's punchy stingers. And just when I thought it couldn't get any better he sinks THAT putt. #lockeyarmy

Remember looking at this lunar landscape on the way to Willingcott once and commenting that it would make a mad course. Half a minute later we drove past the Saunton GC gates... Magnificently daft, especially with that wind. I'd probably consider breaking 60 for that front nine to be an achievement.

Time for a more compact driver head I think Mr Crossfield. I found with G25 I was all over the face with my strike but when I game my SLDR the strikes are a lot better grouped in the center of the face... i dont know about you but I get lazy when I have a bigger looking driver.

Are you guys trying to get a few extra yards with your driver on game golf. I noticed you buzz it 3-5 yards from where you tee off. Lol love the vids as always

I think you're talking about Game Golf. Keeps track of shots and distances so they can evaluate how they played each hole... assuming they buzz in to begin with. www.gamegolf.com/home/?v=b00bf251c74c505

i understand these conditions were more than unplayable, tour pros would struggle to break par. but is it that difficult to line up properly to your drives and hit the ball somewhere near the fairway. i mean lockey is missing fairways by 200 yards, hes almost missing the other fairway lol. hitting fairways is hard, doubt. but is it that hard to keep it in the hole and not block drives by 150 yards? i dont think ive ever done that, and im not great but still?

All part of the beauty of links golf. Unlike the mostly parkland style courses over here in North America, lines are not always easy to see on these courses and having a wide open expanse to hit into can mess with your head. These guys are putting in a hell of an effort just to play in these conditions (and medal no less). I'd take any of their scores (even Crossfield's) any day in conditions like this. Besides, Lockey's block gave him the best line into that green. #linkstastic

Ooooh heavy use of a covert hybrid, after my lob wedge my "Tammy" hybrid is my favourite club ;-)
@JaseWoody9 жыл бұрын
Do you know what hybrid he is using? Is that the 2.0 tour or the older version?
@vicibox9 жыл бұрын
I think its a tour 2.0, I think he has it set to be a 4 hybrid but I could be wrong, he was going on about replacing his 4 iron. Mine is just a standard covert 20degH3 :-)

Vici Martynov vici are you the same person that averages 100 a round and hasn't been near a golf course for a few months due to some injury ?
@vicibox9 жыл бұрын
chris bunting well yes but i have played a round in the deep freeze 10 days ago, despite scoring 8 on the first hole one for two months I did score 50 on 9 holes so I guess i am a bit better now than i was :-)
