Just came on to say the same, its great to see his passion for golf education at the forefront again. Love that the data is the impetus , as there are enough tools out there that you can create your own data set, that wont hide your deficiencies and help you be more honest about where the short comings are in your game .

Mark walking forward into frame in the intro already had me hype, and then the stats and the knowledge dropped, and my eyes lit up. I’ve been a fan for about 8 years, Mark, and this may be my favorite video you’ve ever done.

Hi Mark Used almost all of your tips today... I’m a 22 handicap.. Played 9 nine holes par 34... Shot 39....no bunkers... no short putts...wasn’t short on any green approach shots... first time ever in a round... love these types of vids as I can relate to.... more please

I’m a sucker for your course vlogs but this is undoubtedly one of your best videos, as a coach of multiple sports I like a lot of your “hidden messages” at times.... but the brutal truth of this hits home. Especially the back of green factor in your miss ideas

This is what needs to be KZbin! I don't need another vid on hitting it from the inside or not going over the top. ;-) Using data that you have access to Mark and then giving ideas on how to improve those stats. Plenty more of this! Love your work Bruh

Mark, you är simply the greatest! To be able to make golf (or basically any other subject) easy to understand, you as a teacher need to be an expert in the "difficult" details to be able to dial up to simplicity again. So many golf-tubers try to show all different details (almost just for show) instead of really focusing on actual outcome. Love this type of material you produce wiith data mixed in, showing stats makes it even more understandable. Keep up the good work as one of golf-youtubes facts based knights.

I played my first game since watching this video. Thank you so much for the tip on playing to the back of the green with my approach shot. Not only did I hit more greens but also it totally took out the stress of club selection. I just played to that yardage and pretty much ended up pin high or closer to the pin every time.

Great video Mark. One of your best. The driver against 3 wood stat was an eye opener. Got to get that driver going straight again. With a few lessons went from 23 to 17.7 hc last year. My coach told me to forget using one club for chipping and use multiple clubs with a ratio, that and knowing my carry distance has been the difference.

Thanks so much for showing the GIR %s by handicap, Mark. I've recently begun to keep stats and was appalled that my GIR is only 28%. But your average stats suggests that's pretty bang on average for my handicap. So you've stopped me panicking and given me some tips to improve. I'll certainly start trying the play to the back yardage idea. Cheers, fella!

Great video Mark and some brilliant ideas and lessons which are being backed up by the data - good course management the 3 wood v driver and have been saying for ages egos get in the way of good scoring - the Mantra should be take one more club (at least) = more GiR and lower scores - will put that into practice on the course tomorrow!

I started at 10 years old played a ton as a kid. Got my first SW when I was 20. Used it almost exclusively out of bunkers. Didn't try a lob wedge until I was in my 30s. Used it OVER bunkers. Now in my 50s. Still chip with pw. Use 52° for partial shots. 58° for full Soren pitches, most sand and short side/ over bunkers.
