That stronger man creed was amazing. I spent 20 minutes writing it down for myself to memorize. 40:55

@ “The Stronger Man Creed” by Pastor Josh McPhereson I am a soldier with a king to serve and battle to fight, I will not go quietly into the night or let my heart be filled with fright, for all that is good and all that is right, I make good battle with all my might. I am courage in human form, I am a vigilant protector. I am a farmer working the field to harvest the crop, no matter the challenge I will not stop, wherever I go things flourish around and come up from beneath the ground. Because I diligently water and sew, I care for things so that they grow. I get it done, I do what it takes, I am perseverance personified. I am a diligent provider. I am an athlete, running the race to win the crown. No strain or pain will keep me down, and one day I will hear the sound of “Well done good and faithful one.” That alone is why I run, so I push hard to the very end. I am a visionary leader. I am a son, known and loved. I am a man who is free from a life of sin, misery, and self imposed slavery. Thanks to Jesus’ work on Calvary, I am a blood bought branch of the family tree. Yes I sing that “Jesus loves even me!” Glory to the King of Kings. I am a lover of the one true God. “Evil will win, all good men are gone!” I often hear it said. So lend me your ear, and let me be clear; Valor is not dead. This is my pledge, my life, my code. I will walk the narrow road, pushing, striving, sweating and straining; growing, hustling, never caving, to the siren song of the “Me centered life”, I live for one no matter the strife that comes when fighting for good. And with all my strength I’ll answer the bell, and hit with force the gates of hell; this soldier, farmer, athlete, son; won’t flinch in the storm no matter what comes. No matter what arrows the snake may hurl, I’ll kill the dragon, I’ll win the girl. I’ll make good use of all my days by spending them to proudly say “I count myself among the clan of those who follow The Stronger Man.” So this is what my life will proclaim; with all that I am, all in, One Name.

Amen pastor Josh. My wife and I know exactly what you are going through. Our oldest daughter, who is 15, has spina bifida and has had 21 surgeries. The doctors tried to get us to abort as well. God has used her to prove who is in control. God bless

You had a leg up. You had a father that didn’t belittle you and wasn’t constantly critical and didn’t hit you daily with an open fist. You had a coach that created a family for the team that you were on. I never had a coach that created that kind of environment. Most coaches I had were highly critical. And I played semi pro and division one baseball. You had a father that was supportive and prayed of you. My father did not believe even to his dying days. You need to acknowledge that you had a huge leg up in the game of life. The rest of us have had to learn through trial and error and some of us have no idea what you’re talking about even though we are believers.

That’s why I’m thankful to hear how a healthy family looks like!for me, it’s not just enough to NOT want to be like my dad and messed up upbringing, but instead to focus on what I want to become.

Pastor Josh _did not_ have a leg up; YOU were dealt a bad hand. Don't fall into the trap of seeing others as "privileged". I'm sorry for the hardships you've been through. But don't let it make you bitter. Instead, be the father you wish you had.

Chunn I am sorry about your up bringing! I am 62 and I have been there! I almost killed my dad when he attacked me at 16! However I did learn from the men of church! My folks grounded me from church! I would walk 5 miles to church and back! Then I got married to a abusive wife who was supposed be a Christian! Arrested 7 times! Kick, bite and scream at me! 21 years of that! Tried to run me over three times! The most important thing guard your heart! Don’t become bitter or a hard heart! Don’t put your trust in man! I divorced her and I have a great Christian wife today at 62! BTW I got scholarships for wrestling, track and football! Played in the UNI dome my parents did watch me at all! Drank and did drugs!

I am sorry, I just don’t like these introductions, I have been following Pastor Mark for quite long, I suppose I don’t like change. I just push the fast forward, until the sermon starts. Just too many sideshows lately
@kellen-KMK3 күн бұрын
I’m there with you. I know it’s his daughter and son in law doing the intro commentary but I don’t like it. They have no on camera chemistry and they’re not funny. It always seems like she can’t stand him and they’re trying not to fight on screen. I know someone will say they’re not comedians so it doesn’t matter them not being funny. Well it does matter if they’re telling jokes and it’s just cringe. Remove them and just have the intro vid play. I say all this with love. I know they do amazing work off camera and maybe that’s where they can thrive.

I don’t like them myself. I just skip ahead. And I make clips to share with those who aren’t saved. They’re unlikely to sit through a whole sermon anyway.

100 episodes too many. Please for the love of God stop adding these intro “Real Faith Live Show” videos on the uploads! You are making it harder to share Marks word to the unsaved! How can I send them a video on a serious topic when you two are opening it up with goofy memes and jokes. Please stop I am begging you!
@Bethanyfarmhomestead3 күн бұрын
You can easily create a clip and send it….many unbelievers love to know that believers are normal, fun, quirky, people…

I hate to say this... I have been watching and following Pastor Mark for about 5 years, and it's beginning to look like the Apostate church. I'm seeing idolization of Pastor Mark, along with too much entertainment. It's more like going to a football game between the yelling and the jokes. Jesus wasn't a yeller or jokster. Speak softly and people will lean in to listen. Also, what's with the charges for subscription? Shouldn't the Gospel and prayer be free? Jesus and His disciples lived an humble life, giving freely.
@thegreenman20303 күн бұрын
So you know for a fact Jesus didn’t have a sense of humor? He seemed pretty angry when he was flipping over the tables in protest in Mathew 21:12. As far as a subscription fee to pray or hear the gospel. Did you pay to watch this, or post this comment? Do you give an offering to your local church so they can run their ministry? What makes this any different? The cost of application, design, production and editing time can be very large and requires staff, I believe those people deserve to be paid for their time like anyone else. There’s plenty of free content.
@donna620163 күн бұрын
@@thegreenman2030 I'm sure Jesus had a sense of humor which has absolutely nothing to do with flipping the tables, that was righteous anger. The humor I'm seeing in a lot of pastors is that of a "babbling, far-reaching, far-stretching idiot." Just idiotic.
@Mr.Kaladin2 күн бұрын
Speak softly? Lol you must not be familiar with the Bible. When Jesus was flipping tables in the tabernacle surely he was doing it calmly? When he created a whip and was whipping the money changers surely he could’ve just spoke calmly to them and they would’ve learned the lesson. When Paul was writing his letters to the churches he didn’t have to use such upfront and divisive language maybe he should’ve written in a softer tone to not offend anyone? When Amos was speaking from God and called the women cows surely he didn’t have to use such harsh language. When God was flooding the earth because there wasn’t 1 person worth saving maybe he should’ve spoke softly to try and convince the people to stop sinning. Example after example after example. Please. You want your ears tickled by soft words you came to the wrong place.

@@Mr.Kaladin There is a time and place for everything. Church isn't the sports or entertainment arena. There is a difference between teaching the Word and being at a sporting/entertainment event.
