WOW! So much like my childhood. We had no place by the lake. We were just getting a lake up on Red River. After all it was the tail end of the Great Depression. But we had the old HomePlace of mother's family. Big yard plus an area of the RR right of way big as a city lot. And About 50 people, nearly all blood kin. Lots of good food and fun and LOVE.
