drkapera Unfortunately not. Like much of Eastern Europe, Polish society is conservative, in particular the older generations. I would know since I frequently visit and both my parents are Polish. In my opinion, Methan should seriously consider paying a visit to a more socially open Western European country, like Germany, Netherlands or the UK.

One place you might want to consider going is Montreal, Canada!!! It might be out of your way, but it's an amazing place to visit. There's so much to do and see in Montreal. You would be intrigued by the French culture you experience. Don't be fooled, we are not all French! You can discover our well known creation of the poutine! The people in Montreal are caring, loving and welcoming. It's a sure place to keep you busy! From the active downtown life, to the our beautiful landscapes, just outside of downtown Montreal, there is never a dull moment. Definitely come visit Maryland at some point. More specifically Annapolis because it is right on the Chesapeake Bay and it is beautiful.
