Hopefully this doesn't come off as weird to say, but you are SO cute. I mean like... your energy and love and passion and joy for what you do is soooo cute and infectious. You're so bubbly and it's super inspiring - even when times are tough. (Also you're hecka stylish and your hair color is always SO on point.) I know what you do and your "aesthetic" is something that you probably put lot of thought and work into but you make it feel so effortless and casual, and that's not something most people can do. Thanks for taking the time to share all this, I'm getting over a real bad illness so this is perfect timing... I'm starting to feel a bit better and super needed the inspiration :D I'm curious if you have any fav female KPOP stars? I'm actually a baby as far as KPOP goes, like real new to it at my ripe old age of 34 I'm a little out of my depth but I like what I've heard when I go to a local KPOP-stan/Korean stationery shop but I'm a little clueless as to what's good. @@himbosuplex my favorite girl group is dreamcatcher and i highly recommend them, esp. if you like more rock-influenced music with a heavier sound :-) i also love loona, iz*one, everglow, oh my girl, gfriend, bol4, and then some older groups like exid, f(x) and girls’ generation, particularly taeyeon’s solo music. Sunmi, hyuna, chung ha, youha, and bibi are all great solo artists worth checking out as well. Sorry that was kind of a lot but i hope you have fun listening and discovering new music!

I would really love to see you go back to the Little Witch Academia art. It's one of my favorite series. It has two movies and a few year ago got two seasons of an anime. The style is so cute and I'd love to see you do some of the portraits for it into the style of the ones you've done for My Hero Academia and Jujutsu Kaisen characters.

Im the same way, I jump from sketchbook to sketchbook depending on the medium I use. I prefer sketchbooks because it's easier to keep organized. But I prefer mixed media sketchbooks for alcohol markers because I usually also use coloured pencils. I really like the Strathmore toned tan mixed media sketchbook and the arrtx mixed media sketchbook, they box have very smooth and this paper that is great for many layers of alcohol markers

Thank you for another video! It's so cool seeing your style and colour choices jump as you go longer periods without working in the same book. We don't get that with consistent sketchbook use. :D I bought a pad of Bee marker paper a few years ago and ended up having to give it away. I could not for the life of me get it to blend at all. I've had no issue blending on any other paper (Rendr, Strathmore, standard cardstock, even Artist Loft), but for some reason the Bee paper was dead set against it. Do you have a favourite paper to use with alcohol markers? (If this is listed somewhere then I apologize.)

Ooh that's such a fun way of looking at it! (makes me feel better about not being consistent in any given sketchbook :P) Yea I admit I did not love this Bee Marker paper either. I personally love the Rendr one and have been using the Ohuhu a lot lately :)

@@imawonder Every time I draw a new sketchbook I redraw the same image for the first page, but other than that I don't really have any ways of marking progress, so seeing your leaps through the passage of time was something new and I love the idea of it. :) I haven't tried Ohuhu paper but it has been on my list! Strathmore is my go-to marker paper for commission work, but for personal doodles I've been using Artist Loft's new marker paper (which is surprisingly not terrible) and the cardstock in my sketchbooks. I absolutely love using Rendr but I worry about wasting it so I don't use it often.

Bee Paper Company is still on Amazon and even on Etsy via private sellers, but at absolutely horribly high prices! I can't even recommend them anymore since they've been purchased by a US Distributor... they're even at Walmart but the paper is absolute garbage 😔....

No shade because I like your channel, but the only bad things about sketchbooks people show on the internet is that they don't look like real sketchbooks. So many don't have the real, random, unfinished sketches or ghosts of ideas that are in real sketchbooks, just (or mostly) a bunch of finished brilliance. It creates unrealistic expectations.
