My grandmother used to press flowers a lot and pressing them inside books with super thin and soft paper has always worked for her. Straight inside the book (so don't use a book you care about obv) and then close it and put a bunch of other books or weights on top of it. Edit: by super thin and soft I mean like a phone book, or a really cheap textbook

I'm pretty new to all of this, but I just sat down and flipped through my first four, and I got a ton of ideas of things to try. I also keep cringing at how lousy I thought everything looked, ha ha, but I guess that's a good thing because I guess it means I'm developing (?)

I love your sketchbook tours ❤ pencil transfer and paint sticking really bothered me (in my own sketchbooks not when I’m looking at other sketchbooks) so I learned about “Cold Wax Medium” which I could use to seal up the pages I didn’t want sticking together and didn’t want to use fixative or tracing paper over

I’m grateful for you sharing the things you think are imperfect :) you are so talented and thank you for being you.

I love the hotdog man 🌝😂 why is he so adorable 😂 I think he would be a cute sticker idea. I feel your struggle with the sketchbook and with your art. But most of the time it's the stress that takes away the fun and creativity 🙈 at least that's in my case 🌝 perhaps you need a little break and doing some fun trip or some fun things for new inspiration 😉 or some other crafty stuff that is sometimes helpful too 😊 By the way I think it's ok to speak about the mistakes you find in your art pieces. Mistakes are always a good reason to improve or try at least an other time 😉 I like your artwork and your KZbin content!! Stay magical 🔮

A new perspective for you: Although you can’t recreate your old sketchbooks perfectly, it would be more worrisome if you had not made any progress in the two years since your sketchbook video. It’s growth, and although change is confusing with our art it’s a good thing to see that change and growth to show that you haven’t been stagnant in your art after all this time.
