We missed your Mom too on the first day. I take my husband with me to my markets. He helps some , but I set up all of my items. I set up my items at home and take pictures. But I really remember where everything goes and place them. I am up to 243 items for my next market on Nov. 9, 2024. Wish me luck it will be my first Christmas market.

Wow that's a lot of work but you got through it with flying colors! Good job. I am a little surprised you leave your cash box out like that. I put mine in the wood crate so no one can see it.

My cash box is tethered to the crate and is always locked when I am not standing in front of it. At other shows I put it in the crate, but at that show we stand on the sidewalk and after a while my back hurts from bending over so I put it up a little higher here. I do all my markets alone so I understand why you were so upset about having no help. Twice my parents and sister turned up and helped out for a couple hours and it was so lovely, I got to drink and pee. I normally slow sip my water 2 hours into a market, don’t eat until it’s finished, that way I’m never caught out. My market next week is all day for 2 days and I hope I’m near some toilets. You’re going to love next year not having to worry about making and selling. Congrats on your market

I have always had my mom at every market until this year, so it's been quite the adjustment when she is not there. I was def slow sipping at this festival until my daughter showed up. April I have a chronic illness that prevents me from walking much and I have swelling in my feet and legs that causes me pain at night as well, I use Tylenol arthritis, it is different than regular Tylenol because it’s time released. Please give it a try. It helps a lot.

It’s a good problem to have…lol Most pain is related to inflammation. I suggest taking 800 mg of ibuprofen with 500 mg of acetaminophen for acute pain. p.s.
