Market Harborough - line speed and station improvements

Back in June 2019, we increased the line speed that runs through the station and delivered station improvements too!
The biggest upgrade programme for the Midland Main Line since the 1870s was completed in May 2021 on the London to Corby line.

1:01 awesome dogleg (which they removed). I feel sure that had the big four still been in charge post-war this speed restriction would have been fixed quite a long time ago, given competitive attitudes

I saw a trespasser crossing tracks at Prestwick Town today. I'm unsure whether police came or not.

Yes - the electricity grid crosses the line somewhere near Market Harborough so that's where they're going to make the power connection
