Those cows are sooooo cute. I got the free pattern you linked-Thanks!! I use regular acrylic yarn for most of my amis, but I've seen people use that to help make the magic circle when working with the blanket yarn. They cut a piece of the regular yarn and weave it through the base of the magic ring and pull it tight to avoid pulling on the blanket yarn.

I LOVE this cow pattern, so I’m glad to share it with others! And I have done that before with acrylic, but I prefer to just stick with the blanket yarn! It’s very rare that my MC break or don’t work!
