@MarketHustle Жыл бұрын
Ideally your website consent manager service allows you to speak to both 1st and 3rd party cookie usage, however, you are not required to use these in all markets. If you are in EU and subject to GDPR or in California with CCPA you will need to disclose all tracking (1st and 3rd party).
@St4rzz1111 Жыл бұрын
so 3rd one makes u have more privacy?
@MarketHustle Жыл бұрын
Not necessarily. It is just a diff company getting your info.

Can I use the CCPA act if I’m not a California resident? If I want to make a request, do I just email the website and say I want to access my data / have them delete it? Thank you!

Yeah, it is opt-out so you have privacy controls on the social/digital platforms to ask not to have your info stored/used -- and to be deleted.

Actually its kinda confusing that Is that websites/ad who trace you directly and knows whatever we does in internet with the cookies they have ..... Or is that google/facebook who knows every thing about us and give those creepy ads to us. Please respond...
@mawnabettchaieb63323 жыл бұрын
Well if u brows in a website that has share and like bottons, it most likely has a cookie from facebook so that it can track ur activity on that website, thus having those adds pop on fb. Tho Im not sure how this works with YT since it doesn’t inform u about the usage of cookies on u yet ads related to the videos u usually watch pop up on FB. I hope someone can explain this to us :) Or maybe Im just lazy and need to look for the answer myself xD

The website allows other companies to track you, but that is changing now. Safari blocks cookies, and soon Chrome will too!

So CCPA is very similar to GDPR?
@MarketHustle3 жыл бұрын
Sort of, but in an opposite way. CCPA requires a consumer to take the initiative, while GDPR the advertiser has to be proactive and let the consumer know that their data is being used, and how, and give them a way out.

If I put a Google Analytics code into my website and track my visitors` behavior through that, are Google`s cookies in use? If so, is Google in that example a third party or what?
