Hi Nodreen, when I started watching your videos I wasn’t really aware of CIM.. I have now completed my CIM L3 with an overall distinction. I was lucky to be one of the students on the first ever CIM apprenticeship scheme, getting first hand experience whilst achieving my exam passes🎉 I have just passed my CIM L4 marketing exam and I am continuing my final two assignments for L4! I have passed every single exam with a distinction too 🌟 thank you for being an inspiration and thank you again for the competition where I won your amazing book 🙏🏽

My question is 2-fold. Coming from a non-marketing background (I have a degree in Psychology)how do you get into the field, where do you start? Also what does a Marketer actually do, yes I know they promote but what are their responsibilities when they take on a project, what tools do they use and how do they use those tools? Thanks SWS x

From my experiences, I believe your degree in Psychology is the best foundation for any career, such as HR, Marketing and even Senior Management..., those profession you can pick up through work but not psychology.

Hi Mary. You can do CIM courses online I believe. They’re paid for courses of course but you can do then from anywhere.

I"m a college student who just finished my general education classes and am now heading into my actual core classes for a marketing degree. How can I get experience in marketing without much background knowledge? shadowing? internship? what do I need to do to prepare for these things? I want to have good experience in this field so that when I am a senior getting ready to graduate I can have a good resume and a nice job lined up!

While there are no guarantees (degree or not), having relevant qualifications always helps to set you apart from other candidates
