We're protesting for the Electoral Truth and Justice. Venâncio Mondlane won the elections for the presidency in Mozambique; but once again FRELIMO (the ruling party since Mozambique's independence, running the country for nearly 50 years) rigged the elections and announced their candidate as the winner. Mozambique is one of the poorest countries in the world while being one the world's richest in minerals, gas, coal, land, beautiful coast... More than 60% of our people live in extreme poverty while the elite running the country live like billionaires with mansions in Mozambique and overseas. We have no education, no hospitals, no infrastructure. We've voted for Venâncio Mondlane but they are trying to take the voting power of our people away. We've had enough of the injustice, the killings, the kidnappings, the poverty and the police brutality as we peacefully protest. More than 100 people have been murdered by the police and many are missing! We want change. Our President Venâncio Mondlane won with 53% when Frelimo got around 20+%. We've presented over 300 kilos of evidence to the Constitutional Council which proves that Venâncio won on a landslide. We don't want the elections to be cancelled! We don't need an emergency government! We don't need a unity interim government! We just want Venâncio to be announced the rightful winner of the Elections this past October 9th and take over our nation. POWER TO THE PEOPLE 💪🇲🇿❤️

The Constitutional Council decision that Frelimo won the election is neither here or there bcos the judges ignored all the evidence of shenanigans of rigging that took place during the elections for instance the massive voting for Frelimo that took place in Zimbabwe . That corruption alone nullifies the results as free and fair secondly the judges that set on the bench for that hearing were threatened by Frelimo hooligans hence they had no choice but to save their lives and profession by announcing a biased decision against the opposition party . The Frelimo regime must respect the wise word of advice from the mother of Mozambique Graca Machel that Frelimo must hand power to Mondlane in order for peace and tranquillity to prevail in Mozambique.

In Mozambique, roads are not roads. Buildings are Still left with visible war scars. Food is sold on streets, and is COVERED in flies. Food sellers on the streets are COVERED in FLIES from head to toe. Food stores are filthy. Streets are filthy with live chickens tied up for sale in the street gutters. The water from taps is filthy. Accommodations are terrible, unkept and dirty, unless you go 5 star price. Hordes of fly-ridden, glazed, snot-faced children harass tourists in the streets and at the market. After my 1st visit to Moz, I blamed myself, so I tried it a 2nd time. After my 2nd visit, I forgave myself for needing to poke my finger in my own eye twice, and vowed to never return. Whatever happens in Moz... going forward .. can ONLY get better...because it can not get any worse.
