People don’t understand Intel has to take extremes measures if they want to become what they were and this business is one of the hardest in the world, people said Intel lost the train of AI but they have Habana laboratories they have their Guadi accelerator (that seems quite competitive) . Time will show but there is no other company that designs and fabricates semiconductors at the scale Intel does. If they indeed succeed in their aspirations they may become the most important company in the world. There is no other manufacturer in these part of the world

CPU vs GPU: GPU is parallely faster than CPU, GPU has 3 airfans and CPU has 1 airfan, GPU is growing faster than CPU, GPU does its job for AI and CPU does much slower its job for AI. The solution is a weird XPU that includes a general purpose 1-core and specialized 32768 micro-cores in the die area instead 32-cores.
