If you look at the big picture, the European Union is going down and they would never do Britain a favor, more likely to do the opposite. so alining with Europe is likely not our best option. America with all its faults are economically doing very well and is likely to be more aligned with Britain culturally linguistically, and historically. America is more likely to do us a favor. Brexit, in my opinion was a big mistake. You have to be connected to one of the global powers, North America, Europe, or China. We have to align ourselves with one of these if we are to succeed in the future and currently America is looking the best option.
@anonnemo250410 сағат бұрын

The likes of Stalin, Hitler and Mao Zedong shut down free speech. The BBC, ITV, CNN, mainstream media etc do not report raw unbiased truth, biased editing is both disingenuous and dangerous to we the public. USA liberated its self from a British tyrannical, monarchal controlled government via a revolution sparked by a 2% tax on tea!!! “Far right” ? That would mean a national socialist, clearly he isn’t a fully paid up socialist -although he still supports some measure of social welfarism - and his support for global trade and high skill immigration makes him more globalist than nationalist. He’s patriotic which is a good thing, but that’s not a far right trait, it’s someone proud of the history, culture and achievements of their country. How does that make him far right ? I’m not a Farage fan personally and didn’t vote Reform as to me they are still too socialist and statist.

@@nockianlifter661 Top tip mate. When people resort to name calling, it's because they don't actually have anything substantive to say. So, ask them to explain why they're calling that person/entity that name. Best case scenario, they will actually think for themselves (for once) and do a bit of research, and realize their news sources have been misleading them. But usually, they'll be cowards and ignore you (and continue adding nothing of worth to the conversation). But don't waste your time doing their homework for them.
