My outlook on money changed when I realized someone making $300,000 can retire broke & someone making $80,000 can retire a multi-millionaire. Living within your means and living a frugal lifestyle is the first step to financial independence. I just hit the one million mark last year, cheers to everyone striving to get there someday.

Varied sources of income is wise and especially living within your means. My net worth is over $1M and I can pay my bills with no stress, but I don't live like I have that. I have no complaints.

This intrigues me. I've looked up financial advisors online, but finding one to connect with is a bit difficult. Do you mind if I ask for your recommendation?

Your story is awesome! Congratulations! I love that your car is fairly modest… 😅 I’m new into the investment/real estate game. Also I’m based in Germany. Do you have any advice that’s applicable here as well?

@@flyingstar7846 You got it! I plan to get back in the studio soon. I had to take some time off with my infant son, but I'll be back at it shortly 😃

@@slydawwg Spam Starter? I was able to retire at 28 years old because of good money habits and smart investing. I encourage everyone to do the same.

@toddbaldwin love your story. We are on a similar journey and recently a new business owner with one child. Can you provide more insights or resources to the IRS criteria for Roth IRAs for employed children modeling for family business (we own self storage)? Everyone I talked to seems unfamilar with what we need to do to CYA and set up/contribute for our “model” child for the family business.

@Todd Baldwin What I truly appreciate about this gentleman is that he is a good human being first. Todd figured out how to have life balance 🙂 This man is a legend. Keep up the great work and I love the balance of family first and finance 🤠 I'm truly rooting for you and I love that you retired your mother

I love how he takes such good care of the baby! Great dad and he is rich?! The little bun really lucked out with both parents. Thanks for showing us a day in the life I’ll have to rewatch again though because there’s so many gems in this. What I missed I think is how he met a partner that was willing to go FIRE, not everyone has that discipline. That’s something I’m struggling with rn in finding a partner.

I am new to the stock market. Every stock that I bought so far, I was out of luck because I bought them when they were expensive. I feel I missed out on all the stock opportunities so far for the tech stocks. I believe having 75K yearly income would be a good investment so I want to plug all my savings into the stock market. I know this sounds a bit dull but I would like to know if I should learn investing or let somebody else (more capable like a FA) do it for me? Please share your thoughts. I am kind of tired of searching for a good stock to buy and losing all the good opportunities

Good for you Todd! Blessings to you and your family. Advice, teach your children the value of a dollar and what it means to put in the hard work and you’ll be just fine. Remember, you and your wife did it so be that example…while spoiling them just a bit. 😬 Btw, I’ve always been interested in moving to Seattle…how can I get in touch about property ownership? Thanks!

How can you end up with a million for your baby after 18 years with a contrition of 6k annually in roth ira??? It only yield 7-10% return.

We filmed for about 10 hours, and not everything that was filmed was published. I will also be buying my son a cash flowing rental property on a 15 year fixed mortgage, so by the time he graduates high school he will have a fully paid off house. That plus the IRA will add up to about a million dollars.
