A more lovely Queen I have never seen, and I have lived almost 70 years. Shahbanou dazzled me the first time I saw her on the cover of LIFE magazine. As an artist, and portrait artist, I saw kindness, warmth and genuine comfort radiating from her face, even when wearing 4 pounds of emeralds and diamonds and a silk satin embroidered white gown for walking down the Purple Carpet. I adore the Crown Jewels of Persia. I adore Persian Carpets and know what it takes for the people who make them, but none of that can match the warm smile and dark-eyed beauty of Farah Diba. I am only a little California surfer girl who was raised in Los Angeles in the sixties. Farah is timeless. She is loved.

I watched an interview with Empress Farah Diba . I feel really sorry for this lady. She seems like a sincere woman, devoted to her family, her husband, and her country. She must have really suffered being forced to leave her country, and loosing two children to suicide. It's sad what happened in 1979, but then the Americans like to remove allies when they decide those allies are no longer of use to them. The United States does not care what havoc and death they cause as a result of their foreign activities. Khomeini could not have achieved his success with help from NATO. And NATO is controlled by the United States State Department.
