I think that one was actually intentional tho? Like mark said he technically didn't hit the button and Help Wanted had lots of those gimmicks were you had to be processed (pretty much the entirety of the repair minigames, the slightest mistake in those could have gotten you killed and I'm pretty sure that this part of the game is based off of those minigames)

I have encountered every bug he has throughout my playthrough, including Freddy not being able to open his hatch during the quest where you need to find a way to put chica in the trash compactor. The only thing I didn't screw up was the buttons when upgrading Freddy. In fact, I found another bug that he did not. If you use the laser on a wet floor sign, roxy, no matter how far away she is, will come sprinting towards it

As someone who is currently learning this sort of animation, I can say for certain that they fucked up the animation somehow; either the original animation is that and it’s just lazy, or they made a high quality animation and it’s framerate was massively reduced by some bug when they added it to the game.

It may actually be intentional (I've seen entities move at slow framerates sometimes in other games), but they usually only do so when they're either far away or completely out of sight of the player, so the fact that some S.t.a.f.f. bots do this anyway when you're looking right at them may be a bug

What happened to roxy (stuck in walking animation) is perhaps one of the only times where the glitchyness of the game truely hindered mark in playing properly, as in he wasn't able to get further unless he died. The other times it seemed to just be some low-tier annoyance or fun to watch the animatronics get stuck, but that single zone was the only place I personally would've lost my marbles at, just cuz of how bs having an entire damn 'animatronic stuck not being able to do what it's supposed to so you can progress' is. With that being said, it was still fun to see mark just waltz around her and making fun of her while she does virtually nothing lol

The part where Freddy runs past him and leaves him to die at the hands of Monty, while hilarious, sadly wasn't a bug or a glitch. When you called Freddy, he would go to wherever you were when you hit the button, and if you pressed it multiple times, he would go to each location in order, so you had to wait for him to go through the list. So it wasn't a bug or a glitch, just really dumb game design.

Something to note about this game is that the poly models are so unnecessarily high poly for no reason which is why the game is like 80 GB. If they had actually baked down the high poly textures onto low poly models it would still have the effect of it being high poly while being low poly. They completely ignored actual game pipeline in game development.

@@sirlegitimate I dont think you understand. When you turn raytracing on, the game has to load each and every individual polygon for a whole model to be raytraced in it's entirety. So when you have a model that is a couple hundred thousand polys because you didnt bake down onto a lowerpoly model, it will lag severely with raytracing turned on. In most cases, in this game, the models could have been baked down from a couple hundred thousand to maybe 10 thousand and thats being generous. Even in 3D modeling software like Maya, the program will crash in a lot of cases where you have a single model with thousands upon thousands of polys like that. Also, if you were to even open up a file that size, it would take what feels like forever to load. No lets just add on raytracing to that and boom. Your program crashes. Another thing, Mark is rich and I garuntee you he has a godly gaming pc that should be able to handle raytracing. It really just boils down to how the game had nothing baked down.

I'm pretty sure that isn't a bug, the animatronics can open doors, the reason it looked like a bug was because of the fact that in the security minigame it locks them out, but when you are not in the minigame mode than it functions like all of the other doors in the game

@@brokenspirit274 apparently, going off of what I've read is that the problem is that the map is so big, you could very easily lose the animatronics, so to make up for it, they made it so the animatronics teleport. The main thing that I've seen that I don't know if they changed it as of late but if you get caught by a security bot, an animatronic will teleport behind you and will continue to teleport behind you to keep up as you try to escape. It's more so a game design issue than anything else.

Yep Unreal Engine 4 (The engine used for the game) uses a capsule for character collision by default. Most likely, Roxy's hunched out of that capsule (Which seems to be fairly thin in width. Gregory's is even thinner considering the spaces you can squeeze into)

Honestly, because of all the glitches and blank spaces in the game (As well as Gregory not having a guest record)... I genuinely assumed that this whole game would turn out to be a deliberately cheap simulation program of a 'futuristic' pizzeria, and Gregory was like an AI or something- the story would lead to all of them slowly getting awareness. While I have a lot of sympathy for the game devs, they REALLY should have gotten some beta testers or just released parts of this game for a highly reduced price or free to be tested. A lot of these bugs seem to be from a lack of testing. I love that they were being ambitious and wanted to expand the universe a ton in this game, but it's clunky, broken and not where it should be right now. I guess the pressure of constant release setbacks just made them go, "eh, good enough" which should never be the option to take. I think we would have much rather preferred to wait longer than to get a semi working game :( Glad they are working on fixing it! a little too late tho...

What it looked like from the credits, there was only one QA tester for the whole game. It's honestly kinda baffling that someone thought that was a good idea

Don’t get me wrong, some of the glitches were hilarious! But I do find it kinda sad that publishers push developers to crank out unpolished versions of their game, just to meet a deadline. We saw this with Cyberpunk 2077 as well.

At least with Cyberpunk the community kinda forced their hand on releasing it earlier than ready. The devs actually looked at this game and said "Yeah sure"

Cyberpunk was released on a knowingly broken state even though they said “they’ll release it when it’s ready”, they themselves admitted the community had nothing to do with it. While with Security Breach it’s well known the community put pressure to release it earlier than it should

@@megamask3158 that wasn’t the case. The community has nothing to do with the release of SC. They had contracts that forced them to meet an unprepared deadline. If they didn’t have those contracts, they would’ve had enough time in the world
