When mark said “this means nothing to you” I started to smile and get a little teary eyed. I’m almost 26 years old, and I’ve been watching mark since his spikey haired, goofy amnesia and fnaf days. I even have a “king of the squirrels” shirt. I remember the origins of darkiplier, and was ecstatic to explore the MCU as it developed. But more importantly, I grew up watching mark grow as well. His channel grew and evolved and never ceased to amaze me. Each video grew in personality and humor, and each project was better than the last, while still having older projects and videos be timeless and re-watchable. And best of all, mark never failed to show nothing but his pure, authentic self. He always speaks to us like we’re family, and creates such a safe space for anyone on the channel. I could not be happier to have stuck around this long, and could not be more proud of mark’s progress. As soon as a release date comes out I am taking off work and watching the movie, there’s no way I’m missing this glorious artwork 😁😁 Sorry for the long comment, but keep doing what you do best mark; yourself 😊 I’m excited to see where you go next, and I’m extremely grateful for all the years of joy you’ve given us. I've been watching Mark since 2013ish (or whenever the more appropriate time would be; time is weird and I have ADHD so I fail to perceive it *most* days) and he's honestly been one of the few constants in my life. I love watching him near everyday. When I'm stressed or just need something to shut my brian off to, I'll always go back and watch his older videos. He is one of the few YTers that makes me laugh *every* video. I love him so much, love how much he supports my community, and I doubt there will ever be a single second where I will ever contemplate unsubscribing from him. It was a major thrill when I learned that his brother was Thomas, creator of TwoKinds, which had also been a comfort material. Still is, I'm just *really* bad at staying on top of webcomics, so I usually binge read it once a year, from start to present. I love both of them so much. They really made a difference in my life. I don't often buy merchandise, let alone watch movies, but whenever I could afford it, I've always bought something from Mark. I've always really loved how Mark talks about challenging himself, and putting himself through experiences that don't need to be that difficult but doing so anyways because it'll change you and force you to grow in so many ways, and change is a good feeling to have. It's something I've always related to, and probably why I started watching him so early on, it felt relatable. It's also such a good reminder to keep pushing yourself in new ways, my current infinite orb wb project is taking up 90% of my time, but I know it'll be amazing by the end, even if no one reads/consumes it, it'll have changed me in ways I didn't know were possible, and that's really all anyone can ask for. Man, I love change.

“And I can’t wait to do it all over again!” Same here Mark. I’m currently going into high school as a sophomore and last year was an amazing journey up a big ass mountain. Our school’s theatre program is the best of the best and as soon as I came in I was turning and burning. Over the course of the year I did a full six shows and in every single one I learned so much, especially on our UIL production, even if we lost at bi-district. We have many more in the works over the course of the next school year and I plan on being in as many as I can. You have been a massive inspiration for me as an individual because I relate so much to your raw uncontrollably ambition, and truly hats off to you for making a fucking MOVIE. @@feralmagick7177 Hyperfixation is mostly an ADHD specific term, and it’s not just “excitement.” We literally get so fixated on something that we may forget to feed ourselves or interact with other people. A lot of hyperfixations have a shelf life as well, and we may have a hard time picking something back up after our hyperfixation is over. Though, some people experience returning hyperfixations. Keep in mind that adhd is a spectrum and not everyone’s will be the same.

One movie I personally have always wanted to happen (although it'd probably be pretty difficult) is an *SCP movie of any kind,* about the foundation, about the anomalies, about the universe in general, or even anything created specifically for the movie itself. The SCP universe has soo much potential, it'd be amazing _(although somewhat complicated due to how SCP works, creative commons, etc...)_ HOWEVER, if it were to happen; I cant really think of anyone better than mark to make it. _Maybe even collaborate with other scp short film makers here on KZbin--_ *--Even something just like "In Space With Markiplier" with the choose your own adventure would be AMAZING as a KZbin SCP movie project too!*

As a filmmaking student who just graduated college, it’s inspiring to hear Mark’s mindset on the process of making the movie and how he approached the project. And he’s right. Just the goal and pressure of getting a film done is exhilarating and the process is fun but stressful. And yes, communication is key because if it’s not there, everything will fall apart. Everything is stressful but it’s all worth it because everyone came together to make something they are passionate about and seeing that passion on set makes you appreciate the work put in. Making a movie isn’t about the process, it’s about the results.

It's always inspiring to hear Mark talk about the projects he makes & how excited about them he is. I'm not entirely sure how to articulate this, but there's something very reassuring about watching someone make the most of their creative passion year after year with project after project without losing it. The fact that these projects keep coming - the movie, Space, Heist, & everything before - makes me believe that I can do something similar. My creative passion is directed towards live theatre & acting. Nothing makes me feel more fulfilled than working my ass off to give the best live performance I can, & when a show finally wraps, no matter how exhausting the production process, three days later without fail I start saying 'I miss acting' like it's been a year & not One Weekend. Watching Mark put everything into a project and then almost immediately dive head-first into the next one makes me feel like my own creative passion is sustainable, & like I can make the most of it without losing it.

Mark, I know you're not the kind of person to use AI, but I still have to thank you for hiring real, talented people to illustrate and work on your movie. We're getting to a point in history where people actually think AI can replace human talent. It feels like it's threatening to create a deadzone in our cultural history where nothing of value gets created, so I just want to appreciate the true hard work that you and the people you worked with put into creating something, even if a few of those people were difficult. 19:14 honestly you are so right here, its so easy to get comfortable and not move on or create something else, and for me, thats how it was. Then one day I woke up and decided that I wanted to do a DnD campaign for my channel. Being a VTuber, thats quite hard as face cams are out, so I got Tabletop Sim and built a campagin in there, fully interactive. But then I was like "why stop there" and so I wrote a near 200 page homebrew guide and published it, and to be honest, its people like you and people like Thor from Pirate Software that inspired me to break out of my comfort zone and take risks, to expand and make myself better, to grow my limits and see what I can do. Now, my limits are the size of my channel, but I have a confidence I didnt have before. I know that once I get larger, once I get that support base, I can create more, do more, and improve myself further. But I wont stop doing things simply cos im a small channel, I just gotta scale things right to make it work with what I have. I want to one day get to the point where I worry that im making something too ambitious, just so I have the chance to bust though THAT limit.
