I love how mystified Mark is when the paper dragons started flying around him, it's a surprisingly powerful moment, even if you don't know the story of SCP-1762. And Mark being sort of in awe saying, "Sometimes the paranormal and the surreal doesn’t always have to be something horrifying, it can be something beautiful and amazing and wondrous. The classifications (safe, euclid, keter) aren't about danger- they're about ease of containment, as I've learned. Just so happens that the things that are hard to contain tend to also be highly dangerous. The SCP site's page on object classes has a neat example... "For example, a button that can destroy the entire universe when it's pressed would be safe, whereas a cat who randomly switches places with another cat anywhere on earth would be considered Keter."

paladinstorm Actually, the classifications are “Safe, Euclid, Keter, Thaumiel, Apollyon, and Neutralized” Apollyon SCP’s can’t be contained, and you should run for your life when you see them. Thaumiel is an SCP that can contain other SCP’s. Neutralized is an SCP that no longer poses a threat, or shows anomalies.

Room allowed us to enter their world and vice versa. But as people believed less in fantasy, the room on our side was reduced to a small cardboard box, and the dragons were reduced to origami dragons when entering our world. Meanwhile, they still fully believed in us so the room on their side was just as grand. Forget why, but there was unrest in the fantasy world, and they wanted to either invade our world or destroy the room. The dragons tried to warn us, but SCP failed to act on it. For those confused, SCP-1762, or the here be dragons thing, is kind of long and I recommend visiting the wiki but if you really need a TLDR: -there was a box -on it said “here be dragons” -the “dragons” are origami dragons who flew out and wrote messages -messages were kind of cryptic, but boiled down to “please remember your creation or there will be war, oh no there’s war, I’m dead” -dragons die, then the box says “here were dragons” -box no longer disperses dragons
