The Emperor Norton thing is actually a reference to *two* things by the way. 1. The one Mark mentioned - Norton, the anti-virus software 2. The man in San Fransisco who called himself an emperor and the word spread through the area. They were a homeless man that became respected simply because of the hell of it and to feed into the joke, getting "tax payments" from those who felt bad for his impoverished state among many other things.

The Emperor is a reference to Emperor Joshua Norton I, a resident of San Francisco whose claims to rulership were somewhat contested by the fact that he had no royal blood and was a homeless man. Still, he was much beloved by the city, who gave him front seats to all the best plays and shows, as well as the best tables at restaurants. This game is great with historical jokes. Emperor Norton was a real guy who lived in San Francisco and deemed himself emperor of America. And he was even loved by his subordinates because he was a genuinely good guy. The police even saluted him. Delightful story that one had.

Really, vampiric yodel seems to be one of the worst skills since the damage is fixed. Anyway, if you're a beanslinger you should just get all of them anyway, except maybe for one. I left out the one for summoning skeleton gunners since I already had Buffalo Bill.
